If we factor in training, time, effort, preparation and so on why shouldn't they pay if you would not otherwise bother, and they are prepared to. Just like any other Job. A Person with Mars in Capricorn with this rational perspective may well seek to over charge or during the process be wondering if the activity is going to increase their status, etc. I'm a Socialist so would try and do a 'means test' at the outset, so don't fit this delineation at all as far as I can see. 26 by Tara Sliding scale socialst sex worker? No judgments on my part. Whatever gets you and your companion through the night ... different strokes for diferent folks for sure. My experience with Capricorns is that they tend if anything to under charge for their services. Taurus on the other hand is unlikely to undercharge for anything. Which is not to say they can't be generous but they will not be "had", and they know the value of what they do and they want that value recognized. So Jupiter in Taurus .. it fits. 27 by Mike N It may be Taurus is more interested in money than Capricorn, but as Capricorn wants to be the boss and boss's tend to get paid more it would follow that they wouldn't undercharge unless it meant in so doing they could remain the boss. I rarely think about Jupiter as, for me, it is not a personal planet so can't comment that much on what it represents as regards my own values, or activities. 29 by Mike N Facebook seems more Capricorn than Taurus to me, is there a chart for it - we can look at Mars there. Quite precisely, as the day to day stuff is often along the lines of what I am doing today, in other words what is someones 'status'. ? Quote Sun Dec 12, 2010 1:40 pm

32 by Tanit For the women with Mars in Capricorn, especially if accidentally strengthened, do the romantic interests have similar influences in their natal (i.e., a strong Mars)? Do you tend to take the lead or do they? I am curious because I am a domicile Mars angular, swift and oriental, who is my lord of geniture and I am not attracted to butch men or strong Mars (they are often more gentle than me, not so up front in their intentions, brave, valiant, etc. although they think of themselves that way, I am sure). I am the one who asks the guys out, and the ones who I do not ask out via lack of interest send me secret admirer letters unexpectedly (friends, neighbors, coworkers), probably for fear of rejection, which is certainly not essentially strong Mars behavior. Perhaps it is that the "other" often lacks what we make up for, though this is not always the case. Quote Mon Dec 13, 2010 2:09 am
33 by Deb In light of above comments I now can't help wondering what Venus in Taurus trine Mars in Capricorn has to say about the profitability of the sex life on various levels But thanks Tanit for bringing this thread back to its main topic, and I hope you get some good responses to your question. Another point I am interested in, having read the opinions of those with Mars in Cap about how they express their anger, is whether even those who say they are non-aggressive would admit to being a dangerous enemy when crossed? I am thinking that in the traditional 'rules' of electional astrology concerning warfare, we are advised to give the side we want to empower a powerful Mars, which ensures that they will have the motive and stomach for any conflict they decide to embark upon. But we are also advised to avoid the moveable signs for their signifcation, because their energy is too unstable and changeable. So the principle is, that if a moveable (cardinal) sign has to be used, we should opt for Capricorn rather than Aries rising, because its Saturnian dispositorship will increase the propsect of enduring the fight through to the end. This seems to align with the traditional principle that Mars is more purposely expressed in Capricorn rather than Aries; so it might not be so dramatic in the long term, but its best for reaching the long term goal. I'm very interested in personal experiences on that point, because (as I mentioned) I have noticed that angular Mars in Capricorn appears in the charts of those who have to deal with political challenges. Yes. Let me give you an example. On 9 October 1980, I was working in a camera shop in Philadelphia, my home town. It was between 5 and 6 p.m. and I was hoping a customer would come in and pay cash so I could cash my paycheck out of the till. A large man came through the door with a paper bag, from which he proceeded to pull a sawed-off shotgun. He leveled the shotgun at my midsection and stared at me. I said, ?Can I help you?? He looked toward the cash register. I said, ?The manager just took all the money to the bank to be deposited.? While I said this, I looked him straight in the eye while I reached for the small pepper spray canister in my pocket. I hit him right between the eyes with the pepper spray and dove under the counter in case he fired. He didn?t, and jumped over the counter and began clubbing me with the stock of the shotgun. I fought my way out from under the counter, knocked the gun out of his hands and over the counter, then picked him up (he probably outweighed me by 70 lbs or so and was much taller), threw him over the counter and screamed at him ?Get out of my f#$&ing store or I?ll tear your f#$&ing heart out!? He picked up the gun and ran out. I chased him out into the street (with my white shirt covered in my blood) yelling for people to stop him. He got away, but the police picked him up about a week later. I wound up with 17 stitches under my eye, seven above my eyebrow, and five in the back of my head from the blows from the shotgun butt. The manager, who was in the back behind a curtain, called 911 and locked himself in the bathroom while all this was taking place. Looking back, I acted pretty stupidly ? but I was 20 and my Mars was being squared by a transiting Moon/Pluto conjunction in Libra. Frank Piechoski Quote Mon Dec 13, 2010 4:23 pm

I have Mars in Gemini and I'd have given him all the money in the register, then procured one of many mobile phones and rang the police. Hey, it's not my money.
