I will take 2nd house-as the house in question.

1st lord is in 2nd and mercury natural ruler of documents is in 2nd.
Venus the 1st lord is in detriment and there is a thread elsewhere about mercury and venus conjunction being "so near yet so far".

If we take the life of this question to be till Oct 27th- I don't think you may be able to find it by then and just make do with your passport as a travel document.

I think L1 in her Detriment in the 2nd and Saturn-Mars aspect will not bring the matter to 'passe'.

The Moon in the 9th and ruling the 10th, also making an aspect to Jupiter that has dignities in the 10th and naturally represents lawyers/institutions etc (and he is Rx, ie, renewing) suggests you should get a new license IMHO.

You will find it do not worry. Ruler, Ma, in angular house means the lost object is where it ought to be: nearby, quick and easy to find. It can be in a sun porch, a room in a house where you have more windows, play room, living room, room where children spend time playing, room or place lacking orderliness, place where gold plated articles are kept, room or places belonging to your children, room with expensive furnishings, pool and game room, children's bedroom. Near some source of heat or at showy, glamorous places.
Ruler is in 10th house. That means to look at hallway, study, dining room, place of business; a parent (mother) or boss may know where it is. Near the house foundation, floors, walls, structure in general. Look also at formal room of the house.

POf (day formula) is in Ge in 9 house .It can be in an upstairs bedroom, hallway, stairway, study, trunk, chest, desk, briefcase, luggage, a room where books are kept, bookshelves, a place where reading or studying is done, a drawer where you keeps pens and pencils and office supplies, filing cabinet, in a magazine rack, place where important papers or records are kept (i.e. birth certificates, contracts, cancelled checks, legal documents, tax documents, etc.), an area near the computer, telephone, TV or radio. POF in 9 house means to look near some church, college or law ?things? at high shelves or around vacation pictures or travel literature. Also look at library (high shelves).

Hi Stan - the Moon is often the most immediate clue in lost property charts so it might help to give thought to the Moon's separation from Uranus in the 6th house. The Moon's last aspect can often describe what happened before the loss.
The Moon in the 9th could be indicating a connection with a previous foreign trip, so if you have kept old receipts or airline tickets from your last holiday it could be with them. Mercury is very close to the cusp of the second, and that would describe a place where papers are found (same with Venus which is also close, perhaps pointing to the bedroom).
The asc-ruler in detriment suggests that the loss is partly down to your negligence; also 2nd ruler peregrine suggests that it is not in its 'rightful' place, so you need to think "outside the box".
Explore those themes and then consider the last aspects of Mars as additionally descriptive of what has happened in the lead up to this question. The last planetary contact with Mars was the Sun's aspect by sextile, so work around the theme of Sun conjunct Saturn in your 1st house in Libra - what does that describe or relate to? Saturn rules the IC so that group is also helping to describe the place or the quality of the ?ground? where the license is situated. Try to relax your mind so that the symbolism can connect with your own memory better.

Of course, Steve is right when he says that the 9th house Moon and peregrine Mars could describe it as lost in transit. The chart is quite mixed in its indications for recovery, but the Moon is making an application to the 2nd house by trine from a cadent house, so I think it is reasonable to give this a week for recovery. If you don't find it then you'll be out of time so I would work on the hopes of recovering it for now.

Hi Deb, thank you for your reply here. I will heed your advice. My memory will not help much I can assure you. I am now going to start looking around the house. I will keep you all updated on my progress or lack of. The Sun Saturn thing is I am conscious of getting older. I was 65 last week on the 11th. I will look up Saturn showing quality of the ground in your essay on lost items! A great easy quick summary!

Hi Stan,

From your comments yesterday I assumed you couldn't display the chart but the link in your first post seems to be working now as Goca suggests. Still my experience is that people find it much easier to comment on a chart that is openly displayed rather than one requiring going to a link. You have certainly had some useful feedback now anyway.
