It has been confirmed that it is the cody of 16 yr old Sigrid Schjetne that has been found. The two men that are being held, a 37-yr old man, previously convicted for violence, and a 64-yr old man deny having anything to do with the murder.

A map at Aftenposten shows two unresolved cases in the 80's in the same area where two young women were the victims of violence and found dead (Link).

If there are two men involved as the police now are investigating, then this agrees with early deduction of the Moon in Pisces and Jupiter, Lord of the 7th, in the double body Gemini. This suggested that there were more people than one involved.

I haven't yet quite figured out the distance, there is too much going on - but we will get back to figuring out the details as the case develops.

From the place Sigrid's shoes and mobile phone were left and to where her body was found there is about 12,5 km in a straight line, but the distance could easily be 16 km or more by car.

The two men who are being held both claim to have alibies and to have nothing to do with the case. The 64 year old drives newspapers (Jupiter in Gemini?) and is to have met for work one hour after Sigrid had disappeared. The police are now gathering surveillance material from the industrial buildings and security cameras in the area.

I think that as the facts are presented it is important to examine where astrology could have been useful, it's limitations and where the astrologer went the wrong way. Quite obviously the body was found almost directly south from where the girl went missing.

2. It's so amazing the U-turn kind of road you predicted judging by Mercury Rx in 2nd station!
3. It's also interesting that the body was found in a "border-line" between woods & gas-station. How is woods represented in astrology? Is it the fire element? Or water perhaps?

This feels a little weird now. It's supposed to be a tragic event but I can't help "take pleasure" in the astrology perspective.

To move foreward I would have to examine the limitations of astrology and my judgement. I am not sure the Leo-curve in the road is useful, but the site is relatively close to the lake provinding the search is sent South and next to the right lake. The Shell petrol station is interesting because it turns up like the obvious landmark and there are pictures of stacks of tyres on some pictures (Mercury), but still I feel that the deduction was not good enough.

Yes, I did notice the Moon on the nonagesimal or on the 10th of the equal house system. In fact I was checking it out the very moment you posted your mail. The problem is that direction by house must be taken from a quadrant hous system, meaning that the MC is South and the Ascendant may sometimes lie further to the South or further to the North than East. In this chart the ascendant lies to the NorthEast.

Woods or trees would generally be signified by Jupiter or Sagittarius, but then a jungle would be indicated by Leo. However, the girl was dumped behind and industrial estate next to a petrol station, down a slope and into the woods. It is a hard one and I am wondering how we could have got hold of the specifics. The distance travelled is VERY important. No doubt she was found in the neighbouring munipicial and our search did go towards the south and was on the correct latitude - but we were too far East - and I was almost expecting to find her either in water or next to water. Jupiter is the ruler of Pisces, has exaltation in Cancer, rules fire by triplicity. Maybe Jupiter disposing Mercury by triplicity, it being a nocturnal chart, explains the location by trees. But as I have said earlier, Norway is really a wilderness, so there is trees and woods virtually everywhere. Down a slope could be Mercury retrograde and in 2nd station in the early degrees of Leo.

Does anybody knows where she was hidden if she was hidden before being murdered?
I think that's important because the IV house (with Cancer/Leon and Mercury) may represent where she was captivated when she was still alive and so it may not have a direct relation with the place where was found the body.

Good question Professor! The police will present more details from the obduction report and as the investigation and hearings proceed. They say that the resecent break through is a result of tactical investigations, yet information has also been withheld during this process due to tactical reasons.

The family invite the search party and everyone who has participated in looking for Sigrid to a gathering today, so that they may convey their thanks to everyone who has supported them. It goes without saying that a lot of people are still in shock over what has happened - but then it is a beautiful thing how people stand up for one another when such tradegies do occur.

Last news is that there is not indication that Sigrid was sexually abused. But the other thing is that one of the suspects was trying to sell his car, a dark wine-red vehicle, with damages. Newspaper reports are many by now but I seem to recall that the other suspect had delivered his car for demolishing. The police's main theory is that Sigrid was the victim of an intended car accident where the car with intension rammed an innocent bypassing pedestrian. Jupiter, Lord of the 7th and significator of the abductor, is in Gemini together with the Moon's South node. But there should also be an indication of greater evil. I am out of office and off my desk at the time of writing - but isn't Jupiter 6 degrees separated from the ascendant and this being equal the angle between Mars and Saturn??? The Part of Accidents!?

The victim is signified by Mercury, ruler of teenagers. I took Mercury?s house and sign placement to signify where the victim was.

The body was packed in severel layers of plastic and clothes, dumped and hidden.

Mercury?s placement in the fourth house may mean that the victim was buried, or covered by something.

Leo signifies the surrounding environment

Mercury at the beginning of Leo could mean the body was at the foot of the hill/slope. The body was moved from one place to another (Mercury?s placement right outside of Cancer and in the first degree of Leo, Mercury retrograde)

I have found the following testimonies of death:

1. Mercury applies a square to Saturn, Lord of the 8th house, and separes a sextile from the South Node, unfortunate in the 12th house.
2. Mercury has no other aspects, indicating that the victim could no more interact with the outside world.
3. Retrograde Pluto hovers on the 8th house.
4. The Moon?s last aspect is a square to the ASC (the victim?s body)

The Moon

The Moon is placed in the 11th house, which indicates South-Southeast

Separing aspects (before the abduction): with the only exception of a trine to the PoF, they are all negative, or activate modern malefic planets. From the latest to the earliest aspect we have: Square to the AC, square Jupiter, (trine PoF), sextile Pluto on the 8th, conjunct Neptune (deception), square the nodal axis.

Applying aspects: At the time when the girl was abducted, the Moon applied a square to Venus, her co-significator, placed in the first house. This is an unfavorable testimony. The sextile to the MC is a weak aspect, which could indicate media attention.

The Moon?s placement in a mutable sign and in a succedent house, at 10 degrees distance from the sextile to the MC could indicate the case will come to a resolution in 10 weeks.

The abductor

Jupiter is in a bi-corporeal sign, therefore there is more than an abductor. One of them is signified by Jupiter, the other by Sagitarius?"exaltation lord", the South Node. One of the abductors may have a mental or physical disability (south node in 12 house), the other may be prone to excesses (alcohol or gambling dependence)

Jupiter unfortunate condition by sign, house and closeness to the south node means the abductors will be imprisoned.

The cars would be signified by Saturn at 24 Libra, lord of the ninth house (third house from the seventh), and by Mars, exaltation lord of Capricorn. Saturn is associated with dark and greyish colors, and Mars with red. The damage and/or the demolition could be symbolized by the applying conjunction between detrimented Mars and Saturn.

Your comments are most welcome! Please do involve. I simply opened up for a case where we could participate and involve while the story was unfolding, and then we can examine our participation and footmarks on every level afterwards. I think this gives the benefit of studying both ourselves and our techniques, in addition to trying to come up with something useful. The reward offered was not important, but one day astrology may be in the position of claiming the reward - and imagine what that would do for our field!

Peple may enter and participate in the discussion at whatever level they choose. I am actually saddened by the thought that other people's persusal and criticism may have restricted you. The police work according to a method of deduction and elimination, and 1000's of tips msut have come in on this case that were all important and valid before they could be put to one side.

As astrologers we need to have an open mind and think creatively, following the structures of our trade. Since we are coming from an alternative source we should spend some time organising our thoughts and thinking things through before creating too much commotion, or else it would appear that we only had the need to attract undue attention in unfortunate circumstances.

I would wait for the police to state a complete reconstruction of the events. Sometimes -if they are still looking for someone- they omit some details in the hope of find other clues.

I totally agree with you about Mercury in Lion as the signifier of the abducted, and probably the Lion could also mean the forest and Mercury the road next to it, but the fact that the IV house begins in Cancer and the Moon is in Pisces, must mean something...

Another thing that makes me wonder is the ruler of the Asc in IV house. That doesn't seem a car accident to me... it's true that in XII house (accidents) we got Uranus in Aries which could very well mean a Car, but it's trine to Mercury... that should have been an help...

I'm wondering if she maybe had a chance to escape from an abductor and then had the accident (... I'm just thinking loud...)

The Part of Accidents, at 10GE59, Asc + Mars - Saturn, goes under several names and is also called the Part of Sickness. The 37 year old who is being held by the police suspected/charge for involvement, is to have received a psychiatric diagnosis as late as June this year. Some sort of confession has come from the 64 year old, who is to have said that he gathered evidence that would incriminate his friend.
