Simon Howe wrote:Well done GB yesterday. I am interested in the 3.20. Leo rises ruled by the Sun who is crossing the sign of Pisces ( the fish), thus At Fishers Cross b 8 5 2007 and whose Mars is at 24 degrees Pisces conjuncted by today's sun is my choice.
1st 6 More Of That (IRE) 15/2
2nd 11 Annie Power (IRE) 11/8 f
3rd 1 At Fishers Cross (IRE) 9/1

A respectable place Simon. Well done.
1st and 3rd are both owned by JP McManus.

So you are using a combination of the race chart and the horse's natal chart?

16:40 24 horses

Campanus 5th 29:30 sag.
Next aspect MC 01:18 Gemini. (in term of mercury)

Gemini/merc colours are often checks or stripes. These horses fit:

Tranquil Sea not feeling this one
Buddy Bolero Gemini friends?
Cause of Causes Good gemini colour (JP McManus)
Lost Glory Same colour as above. Glory is 10th house, merc in the 6th.. a lost house? 50/1 !
Gas Line Boy Interestingly Rex Bills includes Gemini and Mercury to symbolise gas station workers. Red & yellow horizontal stripes.
Problema Tic mercury is separating square from pregrine Rx saturn which would fit : )

I like Problema Tic for a 25/1 long shot and and Cause of Causes at shorter odds 13/2

Gas Line Boy and Buddy Bolero can't be ruled out.

1st 11 Spring Heeled (IRE) 12/1
2nd 8 Cause Of Causes (USA) 13/2
3rd 1 Roberto Goldback (IRE) 16/1
4th 13 Balnaslow (IRE) 9/1

Yes, the winner does fit MC ruler, mercury, a spring in your step. It was puple colurs.

Thanks for your kind words PallasAthene. Yes I always check the transits on a horse and I favour rulers of the angles and planets on the angles. I missed one on Tuesday at 14.05 at Cheltenham when Mars in the western sign of Libra was approaching the I/C and Western Warhorse won at 33/1. But I enjoy your method too. Lets all have good luck tomorrow.

Race 1 Moon

-Royal Irish Hussar

Race 2 Venus & Saturn

Venus by Antiscia or Saturn Conjunct? I went for Saturn aspecting the Sun:

-Never Enough Time
-Arctic Fire

Race 3 Mars

-Captain Cutter
-Deputy Dan

Race 4 Moon

Because I like the horse and maybe distant echo's of the moon:

-Silviniaco Conti

Race 5 Venus

-That's Rhythm

Race 6 Moon

-Full Shift
-Rum And Butter

Race 7 Jupiter

Because Jupiter naturally rules Pisces, sits in protective Cancer, and rules the 4th:

-Claret Cloak

Good luck, guys. :'

For the first two races today the Moon is void of course - "things do go hardly " as the great Lilly said. The last three races, all ruled by Mercury and the Moon too now ruled by Mercury show possibilities.

4.00 Certain Flight

4.40 Shantou Magic

5.15 Oiseau de Nuit

It was a crazy day, Simon. Favs crashed out, multi rider injuries, races running late, and nobody won the famous Cheltenham Place Pot prize.

Interesting...
