25 by felipeastrologo Hi Polina, If you change something then you have to ask another question and do another chart. Horary is like detective work. You get some information, listen to your intuition, investigate and then a new question may come up, and so on. But I always say: listen to you intuition, because there is a margin of error in horary. If an interpretation doesn't feel right follow your own intuition instead. Yes, to my eyes, Jupiter is descriptive of the procedure because the chart always reflects the context as described by the querent. Notice that Venus (your reproductive system) is applying to sextile Jupiter. This completes the picture of such insemination. Venus is in Jupiter's exaltation, good, totally receptive to Jupiter. But Jupiter is in Venus' fall, rejecting Venus. Venus is also combust so "inaccessible/hidden/afflicted" in some way (a health professional might be able to explain how.) Jupiter is in detriment so essentially weak. Being on the North Node makes it accidentally strong. It is difficult to pinpoint the actual meaning of such combination. We could say that essence we have a powerful procedure which has no cabability to produce what it is supposed to. Or we could say that there is something equally good and bad about the procedure/sperm. Or we could say that the outcome is mixed. Again, only a doctor can tell how. -- Felipe Oliveira http://traditionalmedicalastrology.org http://medicalastrologer.net Quote Fri Jul 01, 2016 3:27 pm
26 by Polina I have a thousand questions but I truly attempt to keep the horaries pinpointed and focused. This (and the other current post) are my main concerns because obviously they relate to each other (if there's no partner, I must pay for procedures, in which case Iwant to know when is the best time, because money is not unlimited, I am single, and so forth). its a tangled web of intersecting issues. Alas I cannot separate out intuition. I feel and want a child so much that I can sense them nearby, but the horaries keep showing me "no" and I dont understand "why no"? If I feel one thing, why the horaries keep showing another. I read this (and the other) and I want to receive the Truth bc its the only way to maximize my resources and time. But to be honest it's really discouraging to have such bad luck. Going purely on health results there's no reason I would not concieve but the IUI statistics are low given that its not a very reliable way to conceive (its less than 10% success rate bc the biomaterials die out if the timing is not precise, and the timing can never be precise because medicine is just not that advanced to predict the exact timing of the ovum...yet). There is also the risk that the thawing procedure is done incorrectly (by the clinician) and there's no way to know or prove that unless you have a microscope handy which (I personally dont) and most clinicians wont bother checking. There is also the mundane risk of stress affecting the process or the more metaphysical concept that the child-to-be wants a father and I dont have that to offer them at this point. So it could be any number of things... when I've conceived it has been with a live partner. when I try with donor sperm it fails. SO there is something to that too I guess? But right now I dont have that option and I'm out of time. Apologies for the long explanation but just wanted to provide the comments. Quote Fri Jul 01, 2016 3:43 pm

This correlates with a planet in detriment signifying such procedure in the chart. Polina wrote:There is also the mundane risk of stress affecting the process or the more metaphysical concept that the child-to-be wants a father and I dont have that to offer them at this point. If that fact creates stress in you then it will affect the outcome in one degree or another. That can explain why Mercury is combust by antiscion by your L12 and is about to enter combustion in Cancer while exalting Jupiter. I did not say anything before because I had no idea of what that could mean. If that is a significant factor then the chart is clearly showing it. Polina wrote:Apologies for the long explanation but just wanted to provide the comments. No need to apologize. The details you brought up help comlete the picture. 28 by Polina Well you are helping me, so there is no reason why I should not help you This raises an interesting question and one i can't seem to resolve. Of course, yes, I dislike (loathe) the fact that I have to go this alone and don't have other options. But I don't have other options now and time has run out. And that is what it is. So I have to "accept" it if I want to have any chance at all at this point, and so I have come to terms with it even if I do not prefer it, even if I feel discouraged, even if it is a disappointing way that my life has turned. So: how MUCH do i have to "accept" it (mentally physically emotionally) for it not to affect the future child? The other question is -- if the child REALLY does not want to come into life without a father, I don't know how to solve that problem (you saw the result of the other horary - not before July 2017 will another man show up). But is that what you see with Mercury -- the child not wanting to appear? I do not know what I could do to alter that little soul and coax them forth, assuring them that I will love them so much, and more than even 2 parents could! If that fact creates stress in you then it will affect the outcome in one degree or another. That can explain why Mercury is combust by antiscion by your L12 and is about to enter combustion in Cancer while exalting Jupiter. You lost me on "combust by antiscion by your L12". Can you possibly "translate" what the antiscion means? And how can Merc relate to the 12th other than that its combust and the Sun is the12H ruler? (or is that all it means?) I notice Mercury rules the child's 6th house of health (again) and is at 29 critical degree, and as you noted Combust. Does this relate to the child's desire not to come forward OR is it a health issue? in other words, is Mercury showing just "that I feel this way about the issue" or is it in fact showing the child's soul not wanting to enter life? 29 by felipeastrologo Hi Polina, Some further comments: Polina wrote:So: how MUCH do i have to "accept" it (mentally physically emotionally) for it not to affect the future child? I do not think your mental state is the main factor affecting the outcome of this particular procedure. The procedure itself is too weak. So I would not put too much weight on "acceptance" as far as the outcome of this procedure is concerned. While our mental/emotional state does have an impact on what we attract in life, the fact of becoming pregnant is a major spiritual event and it is way beyond our individual will. I think it is wise to do what we can to fulfill our desires but let the universe decide what it must. That is true acceptance and it should bring us peace and automatically improve our mental/emotional state. I am going out on a limb here and maybe you do not want to hear this. But I think it might be useful to meditate on the differences between "bearing a child" versus "being a mother". One can adopt a child and can be a mother and love a child without having to bear and give birth to the child. If the desire to bear a child is strong you may have to continue trying the options available for pregnancy, regardless of what the horaries tell you. Critical or strong desires such as the one of having a child under the circumstances you are describing always point at a spiritual "lesson" of some kind, whether the desire is fulfilled or not. Every planet is in two locations in any astrological chart. One is the actual place you see on the chart the other is the "antiscion". See if you can read about it on the web; it is an important piece of astrological knowledge and technique to consider and interpret. Here Mercury is at 29:28 GEM and it also is at 0:32 CAN, therfore combust, albeit mildly since it is at the edge of the 8.5 degrees of combustion. Mercury is you/your thinking mind. A combust planet is under the power of the Sun. Here the Sun is your L12 so, the Sun represents things that you do against yourself. Worry, over-concern, are examples of such things we do which harm ourselves. An active L12 always acts as obstacles to anything we do. A combust planet also has difficulty to see or accept. The expression of a planet's antiscion can have the additional connotation of being hidden from sight; so here your L12's activity could be difficult to be detected or is not clearly apparent. Mercury is not bodily combust, but it will be when it enters Cancer; continuing the proces it is involved with now as far as what combustiona means here. Polina wrote:I notice Mercury rules the child's 6th house of health (again) The child's L6 is Venus not Mercury. Hi Felipe, I read this immediately after it was posted but haven't had time to gather my thoughts properly for a reply until now. Thanks for the additional comments. So in short if the failure here sounds like it is primarily due to the weakness, in all practical terms, of the procedure, I have a thought to adjust it to make the procedure more powerful (I can use more vials for example) as an attempt to compensate. It wont improve the chances drastically but it will alter them for the better. I am going out on a limb here and maybe you do not want to hear this. Yes this is how I feel, that the desire is strong and I will continue to try despite what anyone or astrology, etc., says. But as I noted before any information is helpful. If the procedure is too weak it means I need a stronger approach. I appreciate your other suggestions, but my desire is not simply to just raise someone else's biological child, but to raise my own. Without going into self defense over it, I'll say I really admire those who adopt other children but it's not quite for me. Here Mercury is at 29:28 GEM and it also is at 0:32 CAN, therfore combust, albeit mildly since it is at the edge of the 8.5 degrees of combustion. Thanks - i read about antiscion on this site, Deborah has a nice article about it, which helped. BUt I did not realize antiscion could be as short as 9 or 10 degrees away? All of the graphic examples looked like they were on opposite sides of the chart... I have read about them before but am not skilled enough to know how to apply them in daily horary practise. Maybe I misunderstood but it sounds sort of like "the worry will get in the way"? In which case my job is to change that and focus on ...well inner focus in order to allow this to happen. I have low hopes as the statistics, my natal chart, and this horary are all against me but I will go down trying. Thanks again so much Felipe. Quote Thu Jul 07, 2016 12:10 am
31 by felipeastrologo Hi Polina, Polina wrote:my desire is not simply to just raise someone else's biological child, but to raise my own That is reflected in the chart by the Moon being in a Venus (your femininity) sign, rather than a Saturn (child) sign. That does not mean at all that the child is not important to you. Of course, it is. But the primary focus is the feminine experience of bearing it and raising it as "your own", so to speak. Polina wrote:But I did not realize antiscion could be as short as 9 or 10 degrees away? All of the graphic examples looked like they were on opposite sides of the chart... I have read about them before but am not skilled enough to know how to apply them in daily horary practise. Here you have an example of a planet and its antiscion being nearly side by side (not 10 degrees but minutes apart). The antiscion of a planet is always located in the mirror position by spliting the chart in two along the zero degree Cancer-Capricorn axis. There are no other requirements; any planet in any place will show up in the mirror. Polina wrote:it sounds sort of like "the worry will get in the way"? Worry always gets in the way of anything, be it worry of losing something or worry about not getting something. When it comes to L12 things can get very subtle. 32 by Polina Ok thank you Felipe. It sounds then that focus on "not worry" should be one of my top concerns (ironically). I will work on that. Quote Sun Jul 10, 2016 2:07 am
