by Gem Ficina Are you by any chance still looking at the 1500 kick off chart? According to the UEFA site, the kickoff is at 20.00 local time(15 Cancer 0). Do you still see any clear testimonies for Russia? I have to make a correction: there's actually no asteroid called Scotland. There are ones called Scott and Scotti, though. I had less luck with the asteroids resembling the names of the Premier League clubs: Arsinoe Asta Blackee Bolotov Chelsagloria Eva Fulton Mancunia Redman Quote Tue Nov 13, 2007 10:01 pm
by Ficina Are you by any chance still looking at the 1500 kick off chart? According to the UEFA site, the kickoff is at 20.00 local time(15 Cancer 0). Do you still see any clear testimonies for Russia? Oh gosh, yes, I've been looking at the wrong chart. Thanks, Gem That certainly changes things. I can only see one testimony in the chart and that's Venus (L4) conj PoF, which would still favour Russia unless we give them the Asc as odds-on faves. What do you reckon? I love those asteroid names, especially Bolotov Quote Tue Nov 13, 2007 11:00 pm
by Gem I can only see one testimony in the chart and that's Venus (L4) conj PoF, which would still favour Russia Venus is conjunct the part of Spirit(which is weaker than POF in football charts) and the POF is in the 10th, which favours Israel. Their sig( the Moon) being above the ground is another good sign for Israel but that's about it, apart form the astroid stuff I mentioned. Mars can be a co-sig for Israel as it's on AC. It's squared by anticion of POF. Is it a bad sign? Can England sitll be hopeful? Quote Wed Nov 14, 2007 6:44 pm
by Ficina I don't reverse the formula for calculating PoF in a night chart. I've gone through phases of reversing/not reversing. I've seen arguments for both methods, but the one John mentions in his book (which I've not heard before) has convinced me not to reverse - for the time being anyway Quote Wed Nov 14, 2007 8:47 pm
by Gem I don't reverse the formula for calculating PoF in a night chart That's interesting... the one John mentions in his book (which I've not heard before) has convinced me not to reverse I'm very curious to know his arguements... To speak about my own experience, I always look at both and have found so far the part of spirit not as active or effective as POF(reversed ones). Quote Thu Nov 15, 2007 10:02 am
by Ficina I always look at both and have found so far the part of spirit not as active or effective as POF(reversed ones). That's interesting too. How have you found it to affect antiscion PoF or have you not looked at this? John's argument is that the position of PoF is a charting of the Moon's phase throughout the month, and that the Moon's phase doesn't change as soon as it gets dark. The PoF works its way round the signs through the course of a lunar month. You can see this quite clearly if you look at an animated chart. It does one circuit and a bit in 24 hours, then the same over 28 days. I'd never actually noticed this before. I'm not sure if I've explained this very well, but it's very clear when you see it move in an animated chart. Actually I've just noticed that John says in his book that aspects from L4 or L10 to PoF are not strong enough to decide a contest on their own. So if we disregard Venus conj PoF in the Israel chart, then there are no testimonies for either side. So this could mean that the faves, Russia, win by default Quote Thu Nov 15, 2007 10:45 am
by Gem Thank you so much for enlightening me on this; your explanation was clear. So that's why POF is sometimes potent and sometimes useless, depending on the phase. How have you found it to affect antiscion PoF or have you not looked at this? Looking at the ansticion of POF is something I picked up from this forum lately and have only looked at it in a couple of charts. I'm still sceptical of the anticion of non-physical points but I'm really willing to look at anything and everyhing especially in a chart like this with no strong testimonies for either side. So this could mean that the faves, Russia, win by default That is really the logical conclusion but still I can't help myself hoping... Quote Thu Nov 15, 2007 12:23 pm

by Coffee Spain vs Northern Ireland. David Healy (or "God" as he is known to me, Leeds/N.Ireland, and Fulham fans) 5th August 1979. Killyleagh. Somewhere Virgo rising methinks. I did a prediction ages ago for David Healy to be top goalscorer in the English Championship (that long ago!) - I was so wrong about that. He couldnt score many for Leeds against weaker opposition, but he could score a hat-trick against Spain. Ever since then, goal after goal after goal, making him the record goalscorer in any Euro qualifying campaign. Transits now: Uranus trine Uranus, which rules his 6th. This transit has obviously been going on for some time. Uranus/11th house is goals, plans, hopes, wishes etc. I dont mean football goals, but it could mean that too. While Uranus trine Uranus is a couple of degees out, he has Mercury conjunct Uranus applying - a double aspect. Spain will know about Healy and may well sh1t themselves at the thought of facing him again. Not saying that one person will carry the team, but when youre superman (Healy) - anything is possible and miracles can happen. Or rather, just another day in the life of David Healy. So who would like to inform me of the good/bad news about Nothern Ireland? 99 times out of 100, Northern Ireland would not win this match - to put it in perspective. Quote Mon Nov 19, 2007 9:04 am
by Ficina I think Northern Ireland could get a draw out of this match, but that won't be sufficient for them to qualify In the match chart they are Jupiter, strong in 7th and receiving a trine from Moon. I'd like to think this is good enough for them to win, but bearing in mind they are away to an odds-on fave it seems unlikely. Anyway, I shall keep my fingers crossed for them Quote Tue Nov 20, 2007 12:31 pm
by Coffee I just looked at the natal for the UK. 1st Jan 1801. Mercury square Venus. 9th square 1st. Could be telling. Quote Wed Nov 21, 2007 4:32 pm
