37 by Andrew Bevan Great Ciuboda! Norway loose, and I am still crying... Can you help me out with the astrological reasoning for the other games? Thanks! http://www.astronor.com Quote Mon Oct 13, 2008 10:14 pm

I'm using statistics from other games regarding AS in sign and Sun/Moon/Mercury/Venus/Mars position in house. I'm working to build up a model and to define some rules that are working. First I would like to see if it's working. Living Astrology Blog Quote Tue Oct 14, 2008 4:16 am
39 by Ficina Czech Republic - Slovenia: Slovenia wins This is a bold prediction since Slovenia are 8/1 (9.00) underdogs, so I've had a look at the chart - 5.30pm CEDT, Teplice, Asc 1,55 Aries. Hour ruler is Mars so chart is radical. Moon applies opp Mars (L1). So two testimonies for the Czech faves. For Slovenia we have Moon partile square antiscion Venus (L7). Now I would think that an opposition aspect outranks a square but since the square aspect is partile it might be more effective. Against Czech is Saturn (L10) opp antiscion POF - not partile but orb is 9'. However this turns out I think it will be a closer game than the odds suggest. Slovenia are joint top of this group at the moment, having won 2 home games and drawn one away. Quote Tue Oct 14, 2008 10:18 am
40 by ciuboda Czech Republic - Slovenia: Slovenia wins From my analysis the combination of Aries AS and Moon in 12 it's a major boost for the Away team. Counting the fact that Slovenia is in an excellent form I think that they have great chance to obtain a good result (perhaps a victory). Living Astrology Blog Quote Tue Oct 14, 2008 11:01 am
41 by Ficina Yes, it's difficult to compare Czech Republic's form since they have played one game less, and those they have played have been away from home. We've yet to see how they perform on their home ground. I've looked at two more games involving countries that are doing surprisingly well so far. Serbia are top of their group (which includes France) and Republic of Ireland are 2nd top of theirs behind Italy who have played one game more. Both charts have Gemini rising (like Norway/Holland) so again the home teams are disadvantaged by being the stationary Mercury. However, the hour rulers are different in all three. Austria v Serbia, 8.30pm CEDT, Vienna, Asc 17,43 Gemini Serbia are faves. Hour ruler is Mercury so chart is radical, although we might question the reliability of a stationary hour ruler. I can see no other testimonies in the chart. My guess is that Serbia win but I'm not too sure about this one, so I would welcome other opinions. Rep Ireland v Cyprus, 7.45pm BST, Dublin, Asc 2,01 Gemini Ireland are strong faves. This chart is virtually identical to Norway/Holland chart but this time the hour ruler is Venus so chart isn't radical. Again Jupiter (L7) is conj antiscion POF - not partile but orb is 25'. Cyprus are 9/1 (10.0). Could they pull off a surprise win? Quote Tue Oct 14, 2008 11:59 am

44 by Ficina Oh well, it's not all bad news. England and Serbia both won their games 3-1 and Dan got three out of his four predictions correct Quote Wed Oct 15, 2008 9:26 pm

But to be sure that was no luck I have to prove it in the next weekend on Premier League Slovenia lost with 1-0 against Czech. It was a close one. At half time it was 0-0. 46 by Andrew Bevan It's not all bad news - but I would have loved an explaination on the ireland - Cyprus match. Ireland didn't actually overpower Cyprus. Ireland must surely have been expected to win, but the chart does seem to offer favour to the underdogs or guests. Did the game start on time? http://www.astronor.com Quote Thu Oct 16, 2008 6:58 am

It just dawned on me that the Moon was in Taurus. I refered to this in the Norway vs. Holland game, but of course, not only Holland is ruled by Taurus, but Ireland, too. I have often found that team represented by the sign the Moon is in to perferm remarkable results, while the opposition is a detriment. I.e. Birmingham often seem to have a good day when the Moon is in Virgo. Scorpio promotes the Norwegians, etc... I don't think this explains the whole chart, but by looking at the odds and the Moon in Taurus I would have said that this was Irelands day for sure and that the question was not to be doubted. http://www.astronor.com Quote Fri Oct 17, 2008 7:41 am
