by Andrew Bevan Yes, Northampton scored, Ficina! That was interesting in itself and you deserve credit for seeing that one coming. Yes, you changed my mind, but don't worry. Northampton had a player sent off after 26 minutes play. His name was Coke. I wonder what he did wrong? A few words about the draws I have been observing as the planetary hour is on the cusp to the next. The Lord of the Hour is like a guard. When Lord of the Hour changes just as a game is to start it is like coming in just as the watch is relieved and catching the troops on the middle of the bridge, therefore the draw. I do think we are assembling some interesting tools. http://www.astronor.com Quote Sat Nov 08, 2008 8:38 am
by Andrew Bevan Saturday's game pick: Three games I have picked out that look easy on paper before astrology are NottinghamF - Birmingham, Chester - Millwall and Walsall - Scunthorpe, but then there is the interesting observation of the Moon being in Pisces, which can present problems for a Virgo-ruled team like B'ham. In the Premiership: Arsenal - Man Utd, 12.45 GMT Odds: 3,20 3,25 2,20 Asc 29CP21 MC 1SG20 Moon 13PI58 POF 26TA49 The game starts in the Hour of Saturn. The chart is radical, but the ascendant is changing faces, as if a few degrees could be alotted to the god Janus. Maybe one team scores and then the game is turned around? Jupiter, who is lord of the 10th, applies to the trine of Saturn, L1, but who of equal importance is lord of the hour (the favourites). The Moon applies to the trine of the Sun, who has dignities in the Midheaven by triplicity, both luminaries having testimonies in the 7th. POF is conjunct Algol whcih might cast a spell over this game so that things get stuck. I think both teams should score. I think it looks like a draw or with a slight advantage to ManU. The odds for a 2-2 scoreline are 15:1. Liverpool - West Bromwich, 17.30 GMT Odds: 1,22 5,50 14,00 Asc 12GE48 MC 5AQ25 Moon 16PI35 POF 12LI49 The game is played in the hour of Mercury. Mecury rules the ascendant - the chart is radical. He also squares the Midheaven. Moon is on the antiscia of POF. IT is difficult to see anything but Liverpool winning, but the price is not impressive... http://www.astronor.com Quote Sat Nov 08, 2008 11:44 am
by Andrew Bevan Well, Arsenal - ManU was an embarressment. Maybe somebody can tell me where I went wrong? Wigan-Stoke that started at the same time was a 0-0 draw. Much better were my other selections; Chester - Millwall 0-3 Walsall - Scunthorpe 1-3 ... and Birmingham had trouble in their match, as anticipated NottinghamF - Birmingham 1-1 http://www.astronor.com Quote Sat Nov 08, 2008 5:00 pm
by Ficina I also went for a draw for Arsenal/ManU. None of the faves have won so far in today's Premiership games. Perhaps it's the Moon/Uranus conjunction, even though it's at the maximum 5 degrees. Let's hope there are no surprises in the Liverpool game! Quote Sat Nov 08, 2008 5:30 pm
by Andrew Bevan Maybe the fact that the Lord of the Day, the Lord of the Hour and the Lord of the Ascendant was one and the same planet, Saturn, proved fortunate for Arsenal. I looked at the odds. It must have been unfair to term them as underdogs at their home ground. Todays first game is Blackburn - Chelsea, 13.30 GMT Odds: 7,50 4,00 1,45 Asc 11AQ28 MC 10SG42 Moon 27PI45 POF 21GE21 The game is played on the Day of the Sun and in the Hour of Venus. I cannot recall Venus being granted radicality in the triplicity of air on the same terms as Jupiter, ie. warm and moist. Anyone with a say on this? Jupiter at 18CP12 casts his antiscia to the MC. Sun at 17SC32 and who is L7 casts his antiscia close to the Ascendant and applies sextile to Jupiter, L10. Considering these applications Chelsea, who are guests and represented by the 7th house, should win. However, the lack of radicality would suggest a draw. Chelsea haven't given given away a point in their away matches in the premiership show far this season. What to do? Aston Villa - Middlesbrough, 15.00 GMT Odds: 1,72 3,40 5,00 Asc 5AR42 MC 2CP06 Moon 28PI37 POF 16LE43 The game is played in the hour of the Moon. The 12th house stretches almost 2 full signs, so the Moon appears connected to the ascendant although she is 7 degrees separate. However, the Moon, who is lady of the hour, is in the same triplicity as Mars, lord of the asc., so the chart is granted radicality on these grounds. Seeing that a sign of short ascension is on the horizon, I think it should be considered how even a short delay will move both the ascendant and the Part of Fortune, POF. Villa are represented by the ascendant and Mars, who is 25SC13 and opposes Algol. I can see no useful applications. Venus at 26SG23, who is L7 and for the guests, casts her antiscia close to the MC. The orb is 1 1/2 degree but will be less if the game is in any way delayed. It is a difficult chart. In view of the radicaility proven by triplicity and the Moon close to the asc. but seeing that she is L4 - this could be yet a draw. I don't know whether the Moon in Pisces tests Villa in the same way as B'ham (see yesterday), but this may be a new opportunity to observe. http://www.astronor.com Quote Sun Nov 09, 2008 8:47 am
by Andrew Bevan Scotland: Kilmarnock - Glasgow Rangers, 14.00 GMT Odds: 7,00 4,00 1,44 Asc 218AQ47 MC 15SG49 Moon 28PI03 POF 29GE17 The game starts as the Hour is on the cusp of Venus/Mercury. This could be interesting. Kilmarnock are underdogs! The Sun, L7 of the guests, applies to the sextile of Jupiter, L10 and victory, but the Part of Fortune is opposite Pluto. Do Kilmarnock have the capacity to pull out a suprize? Maybe they have a good day, or Rangers a bad one? Again the draw might be a good call. http://www.astronor.com Quote Sun Nov 09, 2008 11:35 am
by Gem I think it should be considered how even a short delay will move both the ascendant and the Part of Fortune, POF. It's Rememberance Sunday today (when the fallen in the World Wars are remembered) and a minuite's silence was observed before the Arsenal-Man U match yesterday; and the game kicked off at 12:47-48, by which time the AC was in Aquarius. Was it observed before every match yesterday, Ficina? It probably was and it probably will again today. Last edited by Gem on Mon Nov 10, 2008 9:14 am, edited 1 time in total. 44 by Ficina Well spotted, Gem. I wasn't aware at the time so I've checked back. Looks like it was observed everywhere yesterday except Sunderland (they wore special poppy shirts for charity) and those games began 3 mins late. It's been observed today at Blackburn - game began 13.32. Kilmarnock/Rangers also observed minute's silence. Game started at 14.04. 45 by Andrew Bevan Vaalerenga beat Stabaek 4-1 in the Norwegian Cup final. This confirms my suspicions regarding Vaalerenga and the strength of Jupiter, L10, in the ascendant applying to the trine of his dispositor, Saturn, and receiving the sextile of the Sun. What a Super price at 3,85:1! The bet offices certainly got that one wrong!! I didn't play the game. To sit on my hands was the right thing to do. Weatherwise there was slush and towards the end of the game the rain bucketed down. I am amazed they managed to lift the Cup. It must have been full of water! http://www.astronor.com Quote Sun Nov 09, 2008 2:23 pm
by Deb I got the score right for the Arsenal/ManU game and things were looking really good at the start. But after that, what happened? I also thought that some of the kick-off times favoured the home teams so I lent towards them - but looks like I've been completely wrong there. Quote Sun Nov 09, 2008 3:42 pm
by Andrew Bevan Weee, Peterborough scored in the last minute of their FA Cup game against Hornchurch - and I collect on a beautiful triplet composed with two games from yesterday. Chelsea won their game 2-0! The question of radicality didn't make any difference. Maybe Venus' mix of warmth and moisture did blend with the airy ascendant? The significations of 7th house were strong enough! Rangers posted 4 goals against Kilmarnock in the 2nd half. Pluto opposition Fortuna no effect (I think we have seen that before). Fortunately I backed no draws this weekend! Well done Arsenal/ManU - Deb! http://www.astronor.com Quote Sun Nov 09, 2008 3:59 pm
by Ficina Rangers posted 4 goals against Kilmarnock in the 2nd half. Pluto opposition Fortuna no effect I've had a quick look at this chart. As I said, the game started 4 mins late, by which time POF was in Cancer. Results of today's 3pm games: Villa 1 - 2 Boro ManC 1 - 2 Spurs Identical charts, identical scores. How often does that happen? These games went exactly the same way as yesterday's 3pm games. Antiscion Venus (L7) conj MC - away/underdogs win. Today I think this was supported by Moon square Pluto and yesterday by Moon conj Uranus - both negative testimonies for the faves. Yes, well done Deb on the Arsenal/ManU score. I know you're using a different method, but I'd be interested to know how you got that one. Quote Sun Nov 09, 2008 5:35 pm
