Indeed I overlooked your last question but I'm not quite sure what you really ask.

This is wonderful information. I'm learning a lot, though a little dizzy at all the details. But thank you so much!!

My question above was due to a few posters mentioning the presence of other "love interests". I thought it was in the 12H and now I'm hearing the 1st.

The rulers of both the 12th and the 6th (the 12th from the 7th= relationships, significant others) as well as the rulers of the interceptions inside those houses (so, in plain words, Mars and Venus) are both inside your 1st. Maybe that's what's cofusing you. But the influence of the 12th oon the 1st is established through that placement. and we need to know where the planets are actually coming from. The quantity of the the planets inside your rulership could, of course, be suggesting more than one romantic possibility but not necessarilly a fruitful one.In order to bring you and any of your potential boyfriends into the same picture we'd have to examine each and every of these planets and include the "relationship" between your ruler and the ruler of the 7th (the materialisation of the attraction, sort of speaking). It does not necessarilly have to do anything with your "dreamy neighbour" and, given that you've alrady had a love proposal (or call it what you like! :D ) from a married man, this could have a lot to do with that situation (check the separating aspects and you'll know what belongs to the past and what is yet to come).

Hmmm, I feel like I've overstepped the question quota. You've all been so generous with my questions. But I just wanted to point out, the married man is someone I have no interest in and the curiousity was from the past, he still texts, but I ignore him. So this may be why I'm discounting him. There better not be any more married men. LOL! I'm going to research a bit on what else the 12 H man could be.

My best friend did a "love spell" - yes, imagine that! and she did a chart recently as well and she thought the 12 H in her chart was her target. So, what I'm saying is, perhaps there are other possibiities for me.

I wonder what these could be.

Maybe I should just do a chart with a "Who is my next relationship" type of question?

I'm not sure what she meant by the 12th being her target?! :???:

Bare in mind that a planet coming from the 12th inside your house does not necesarilly need to be a secret man. 12th has got more symbolics- it could be saying more about you, your inner life, fears etc. and their reflection and influences on your personality. 12th is what is hidden from the sight of the others, 1st is how people percieve you. plenty ways to approach that placement.

Or see what else this one has got to say! :D

Also, I'd again suggest a different type of question. Igf you want to know when you will meet someone or start a relationship with someone, then why bother asking who he is- you'll find that out when you meet him (unless, of course, you already have)! And if the chart is radical, it will probably suggest his description or some additional informations about him anyway.

I JUST this very minute read the same thing you explained above. (I was looking at 12 H in Taurus - and the fact the POF is there as well. A quote from astrologynumerology.com said:
The influence of Taurus in the twelfth house denotes more worry about financial affairs than your happy-go-lucky demeanor would imply. Past occurrences, stored in your subconscious, are collected and prey on your nervous system. It's hard for you ever to feel comfortable about your security and financial stability. This may be a source for subconscious fears and apprehension. Subconsciously, you are a very stable person, but this may not surface to the conscious day-to-day behavior very often.

Kind of worrisome. Yikes!

Yes, that's true. From now on, before asking any question, I will always stop to ask what I really need to know, as you say "the question behind the question". This will save all my helpful friends (and I) a load of time.

Oh, well, if the source is astrologynumerology.com :D , then my main advice would be to use Lily's "Cristian Astrology" and traditional literature in the future as your main source. Or at least to begin your studies there!

Based on the Quoted paragraph, the description of the 12th house in Taurus, refers to Natal astrology and, though Venus is always Venus and 12th is always the last house in the chart- not all the rules from natal astrology are applicable in Horary astrology. After all- we're not after the same answers in a Horary and in a Natal chart, are we?
While we would generally examine the ruler of the Asc in a Horary chart to see how descriptive it is of the Querent, we cannot expect to see her/his natal chart in it as well. The influence of the 12th on her Nativity and life stays in her Natal chart. The 12th house in a Horary chart will reveal some other informations relevant for the question and the matter inquired bout, even if it means the influence of that house on a very personal level. But not a life-time influence or exact descriptions of her personality! Also, the Asc ruler in a Horary chart will sometimes reveal only the most obvious and, on occasions, temporary factors. I'll give you two examples, both from relationship charts I've recently been delineating:
1. DC ruler (the ruler of the Quesited) is Sun (authorities, bosses etc.), it went into the 4th (derived 10th) in Gemini- the Quesited was a chief manager in a supermarket(gemini) and, in a way, married to his profession (the 10th) which pretty much was the Querent's main concern. Fiery asc was aslo a bit descriptive of his physical appearance ( he was very masculine, protective, and almost completely bald at the age of 28- Leo rising can often do that. )
2. The Asc ruler of the female Querent (another example): Saturn in Virgo inside the 7th. She has been single for over 10 years and is very inert when it comes to establishing contacts with men. While saturn is usually "someone older" and not the ultimate symbol of beauty- she was actually a beautiful woman interested in a man much older than herslef (she was 12 years his junior) at the time, so, she wasn't the older partner. But her saturn (slow and cold) was indicative of her inertion and its placement inside Virgo was suggesting that she had been single (virgo-barren, 7th- relationships) for quite some when she met that man (virgo means virgin) . From her Natal chart, on the other, it is very obvious that she is a very feminine lady, even a beauty! Not a blonde, though, Saturn ruling the Horary Asc was also descriptive of her amazing black hair and gipsy beauty.

Finally, this short explanation is a very basic "blend" of one of the potential symbolics of Taurus (wealth, or money...) and the 12th house symbolics, pretty insufficient for Natal studies as far as I'm concerned. Hardly will the 12th cusp in taurus cause every single Nativity with that placement in the Natal chart to be constantly worried about their financial situation. :-cry

I'm so lucky to have you to point this out. I had no idea you should not translate natal symbolics to horary. Sometimes I find this so hard to learn but I have always heard Cristian Astrology to be the primary book for learning horary, so I think it's just best I start with that. I know why I keep reading every astrologer has been studying horary for 10+ years and counting basically. Research on the net is starting to take it's toll on me. All I was really after in the first place was "when will I be in a relationship where I really love the guy?" I haven't really had that ever...

I've just had some new developments I thought to share.

Between last night and early this a.m., I've had 5 date requests. Well, 4 of them are a no, and 1 is intriquing. :) I'm wondering if he may be in my 1st house here? Or generally what is the significance of the Venus and Mars on my prospects in general?

So, as Aglaya said - I should examine my ruler and it's relation to the 7th H of materialization. Correct?

I'm pretty happy about possibilities in any case. :brows

I think you should go out on that date and materialise the offer, yes!!!
If someone has asked you to go out on a date with him- "he is already in your first house" ! :D If you like him- "you're in his rulership"! :brows (I am just playing with the words here, you understand that, right? ;-))
Leave the chart now- I believe it's lipstick time. ;-)

And, BTW, and I hope you don't mind me asking- 5 date requests in a few hours??? Are we talking about an online match-making software (something) or the real thing? I mean, i used to be a very popular girl  (maybe I still am :))))) ) but 5 date requests!!!?! :lala
