I found some similarities:
- 21Aq : Jupiter now and Uranus then
- Juno on the same position 3-4 Aries (I now you are not using Juno :) )
- Moon-Mars connected : conjunction and trine
- Sun-Mars connected: sextile and square

That's interesting, Ciuboda!

Tottenham beat Liverpool 2-1!

That's interesting, too. The explainations could be several, but not the type of radicality. The Lady of the Hour shares the powers of the Lord of the Ascendant. This is like an immediate recognition of qualities and permission to administrate the ascendant: "Do as you please!"
I want to check whether this enforces the home team. An orthodox form of radicality is primarily a token of the favourite, while radicality based upon a combination of triplicity seems to share things round and have a liking for draws.

There was a big surprise yesterday in the Hungarian championship, if you have time, you could analyze this, we (or at least I) may learn from this chart. Luckily I haven't put money on this match. :)

?jpest-P?pa 0:3
Budapest, 2009.08.16. 17:30
ASC 08CP09

In the 08/09 championship, ?jpest finished 2nd. P?pa (the name means pope :) ) is a newly promoted team. After 3 rounds, the statistics (win-draw-lost) looked like this: ?jpest 2-1-0 / P?pa 0-0-3. And then yesterday this clear P?pa victory, away from home.

Here is what I can see on the chart (but it doesn't seem to be enough):

L7 (P?pa) is the Moon, and LHr is the Moon as well.
Apart from being L7, the Moon is close to the DESC, it might be a testimony, but not that close, almost 8 degrees!
Moon opposition Pluto 0?33 ? if it means anything in this case.
And the Arabic parts, I listed all in this case: part of treachery trine MC 0?13 :???: and part of bondage conjunct ASC 0?00  . I know it sounds stupid, but this bondage conjunction is interesting, it's 0?00 at 17:30 but it's still 0?00 at 17:35 (if there had been any delay, I don't know), I guess the ASC is part of its calculation, anyway, I have never used these parts so far.

Forget the part of bondage, at least from our perspective. I "googled" a bit. it's calculated like this: ASC + Moon - Dispositor of Moon. So, I guess, if the Moon is in Cancer, this part always equals the ASC. So it can't suggest surprise results in itself.

Day Sun, Hour Mercury - cold and dry with the CP asc.

I don't have a satisfactory understanding of this game. Mercury, Lord of Hour, and Venus in the 7th are collected by Saturn, L1. I don't have anything on record re football matches and the collection. Saturn is in a pitted degre, while the Moon is in a degree of increasing fortune, quote Lilly, CA pg 116. Venus, L4, is in an angular house and in the 7th.

Thx for your reply, Andrew! I'm going to watch out for collection from now on. :)

BTW, a very strange result occured yesterday as well. Bundesliga 2: Aachen-St.Pauli 0:5. (Starting time was 20:15.) Aachen was favorite with odds of 1,75... :D

I took a break from astrology yesterday, because all the games that interested me had the same starting time. This combination of gave ?100 return on a ?5 stake:

Bet/Start/Event/ Result
2 / 20:45 Celtic - Arsenal _______________ 0-2
1 / 20:45 FC K?benhavn - Apoel Nicosia ___ 1-0
2 / 20:45 Scunthorpe - Middlesbrough _____ 0-2
2 / 20:45 Sunderland - Chelsea __________ 1-3
2 / 20:45 Walsall - Leeds United _________ 1-2

When Walsall took the lead against Leeds on a penalty in the 79th minute I turned my computor off and went to bed. However, Leeds scored 2 goals in the matter of 7 minutes and it was an unexpected suprize when I woke up this morning.

However, the following combination of 7 matches was only missing 1 goal by Coventry to give a ? 1000,- return of ?5. I'm very sorry that didn't happen. :-cry

Bet/ Start/ Event /Bet/ Resultat
2 / 20:45 Celtic - Arsenal 0-2
1 / 20:45 FC K?benhavn - Apoel Nicosia 1-0
2 / 20:45 Doncaster Rovers - Coventry City 0-0
2 / 20:45 Scunthorpe United - Middlesbrough 0-2
X / 20:45 Sheffield United - Leicester City 1-1
2 / 20:45 Sunderland - Chelsea 1-3
2 / 20:45 Walsall - Leeds United 1-2

Astrologically the draw between Doncaster and Coventry made sense because the directed ascendant in the chart for the Championship entered Aquarius, suggesting a change of pace. Next round this direction reaches the Mercury/Venus midpoint, which could be two teams sharing the top?

Newcastle should win their game against Sheffield W this evening. I expect to see them run to strength the directed ascendant in Aquarius, which contains Jupiter, Lord of the 10th.

Interesting game to watch:

Arsenal- Portsmouth 22nd of August 2009 15:00

Sun 29 Leo - Moon 29 Virgo - AS 4 Sag

*I have only 3 games from almost 7000 with Sun and Moon both on 29 degree of a sign

Looking on Arsenal astrostat for this games I noticed that there is a strong evidence for a surprise:

- Moon in Virgo: +5% chance to Lose the game and -15% chance to Win the game (compared with the average)

- Vertex in Cancer (I'm start to give more attention to this point): +6% chance to Lose the game and -10% chance to Win

Also lookin of Portsmouth stats the same factor are sustaining the 'surprise' result:

- Moon in Virgo -8% chance to Lose , +11% chance to Draw and -4% chance to Win

- Vertex in Cancer -32% chance to Lose and +26% chance to Win

It will be interesting to watch this game and maybe you can find evidence using your technique.

Yes very interesting and I appreciate the vast amount of data you're dealing with here but it's hard to imagine anything other than the in-form Arsenal (who thumped Everton 6-1 last weekend) beating Portsmouth (who are very unstable due to their uncertain future). Let's wait and see :)
maybe you can find evidence using your technique.
I don't see any possible upsets in the chart ; though ManU may be a bit vulnerable again.

Has anyone noticed that Tottenham Hotspur are top of the table? :D

Draws

The start of this season in the UK Premier League has been rather unusual. There have been only three draws so far. Looking at the historic results the average has been about 30% of matches are drawn, that is about three a week.

This set me wondering about draws and if there are specific indications for or against a draw in a match. Looking at the previous season (UK Premier League) there are days/times when there are a cluster of draws. For example, 22 Nov 2008 has six 1500 start matches and three were draws, as was the 1730 match. On 29 Nov 2008 there were five matches starting at 1500, three were draws. On 31 January 2009 there were six 1500 matches, four were draws.

This kind of clustering makes me suspect an astrological effect :D

The only indications I have found so far are that Moon in Aries produces an excess of draws and Moon in Gemini less draws than average. Also, Moon in the 6th produces more draws but in the 7th almost no draws.

Has anyone else noticed indications for draws?
