Could you double-check the time of the St Leger? I think it starts at 3pm. Either way it looks like the Moon will be VOC unfortunately.
does your "lucky transit" apply to ALL the judgments you make at AT THAT TIME.. or does the race have to be run when your transit is active?
I don't know but I would guess the latter. The day the transit is exact is the 'winning' day, so to speak.
which house system do you use?
Topocentric.

I think you're right about 3pm start.

Shame because 3:15 gave lots of options!!! haha I was in favour of a saturn name and there are 3 or 4..

So void moon means predictions aren't reliable? And apologies for my ignorance, I haven't come across topocentric before. Where can I find out more?

Today, Kempton 19:35 looks interesting. Uranus is close to the asc, Saturn to desc, and Pluto to MC. (I hope I have the correct chart.) Uranus is the closest. But, what if the race doesn't start on time? MC gets closer to Pluto, while the asc and desc slowly leaves the Uranus and Saturn "neighborhood", respectively. And among the horses there is the one named "To be or not to be". :) What a name! :) Not for betting though, in case of a punctual start, the winner should have Uranian conncection. :)

Not necessarily. It just means we can't use lunar aspects as a guide to picking the winner because there aren't any - what I'd call an unhelpful Moon!

All I know about Topocentric is that it's similar to Placidus and Koch. I'm pretty sure you'll find it as an option on most astrology programs. To be honest, I don't think it really matters which house system you choose to use.

I spotted that one too :) I quite like it for Moon in Gemini - being in two minds, kind of thing. On its three previous wins Moon was in Sag, Pisces (mutable again) and Libra (fence-sitting). Hmm, to bet or not to bet...

A few thoughts on today's racing at Doncaster.

1.55 - Poet's Voice - Mercury in Libra conjunct MC. Looks like it will be the favourite at a short price.

4.40 - Mister Angry - Mars conjunct Desc. Has an excellent winning record but is stepping up in class. Might be worth an E/W if the price is good enough.

Has anyone had any further thoughts on the St Leger - the main race at 3.00? The chart says nothing to me and I agree with PallasAthene that the 3.15 chart looked better!

Frankie Dettori won last year's race so I checked out his chart. His natal Moon is partile square the racechart MC. He's riding Kite Wood which may turn out to be the favourite. If so, then he might win, but I think I'll be keeping my money in my pocket for this one.

All saturn names! (imo). Only Father Time left, didn't hear the race so don't know where he came.

Another suggestion could be Whippers Love.. hahaha mars for whips and desc for love. Wearing orange (cancer) with green stars, hmm

Shame :( Fortunately I didn't bet on Mister Angry as it wasn't worth an E/W at 7/1. Likewise Kite Wood who was pipped at the post by its stablemate. I watched it on TV - very exciting race. Father Time came 4th!

Today around 17:10, 17:11, Moon will be partile conjunct Mars. I hope conjunction does count as a lunar aspect. :) Certainly, the Moon won't be far away from Mars even in case of the first race today - which is according to Bet365 is Goodwood 1:30 - but I guess the closer the better. There are races around 17:10, e.g. Ffos Las 5:05 or Curragh 5:15... Mars is in it's fall (in Cancer) - does it matter from our point of view?
