Start didn't quite make it. They equalized in the 87th minute, but put in that extra gear just a little too late to snatch the game. So my tripple failed and a loss was taken here. But for some 'security' at lower odds I also played a double with Chelsea and Hull winning their games at the price of 3,00:1. Then when Sheffield United took an early lead in the FA Cup-semi I took a Live-stake on Hull turning it around at the price of 4,70:1. What a game this was!! (0-1, 1-1, 2-1, 2-2) To get some control I took a profit on the Live-bet at the score 3-2. Better safe than sorry. Hull increased to 4-2 before Sheffield U from Division One reduced to 4-3. The final 5-3 goal came in extra time, so this was definitely the Match of the Day.

What happened with todays placements? Well, I am pleased to say that the combination of strategies posted a ?150 profit! So it can still be worked without necessarily getting everything right!

PS. Regarding the failing Sarpsborg08 - Start game, which lacked an individual kick-off time, but location separates games in Norway; The Moon, who is Lady of the 10th, is in Libra in the 1st house. The planetary hour is on it's change and the Guards are on the Bridge according to PLACIDUS (!!), which would indicate a draw. However, I selected the antiscia of Mars, L7, to Fortuna. Both Mars and Fortuna were under the horizon, and Mars in Libra and Fortuna in Pisces seemed rather weak or undecisive, and Fortuna is cadent (Mars may cast aspect, but POF does not). 'Undecisiveness' is one of the comments passed regarding Start's play during most of the game, until they put in a spurt in the last 15 minutes of the game. The 1-1 result is fair, but didn't quite reach it in terms of my target.

There is a game on the 2nd Level in Norway this evening, Monday. The chart is complicated, but it should still be discussed.

The Moon, L10, is just past Mars and casts her antiscia to 12PI43 and is trine Jupiter at 12CN49, who is elevated in the chart. The Moon is in the terms of Jupiter. Mercury at 12AR43 is applying to Uranus and conjunct the cusp of the 7th, but Mercury rules cadent houses.

I have gone backwards and forwards with this game, whether Mars will get it (Fredrikstad) or the home team favourites (Moon). I don't really know and am likely to stay off. Maybe both teams score and this is the best stake at 1,70:1.

This match was best left alone. But it is a positive example to study the different behaviour of Mars in this game where he was both Lord of Hour, Lord of the 7th and in a tight square to the MC, and where the away-team won, and in yesterday's game where Mars', L7, antiscia to POF was not enough!

Is it possible to say anything about Tuesday's games? Almost everything is starting at 19.45 BST and that is hardly encouraging. But I've tried selecting a few...

All these games are played on the Day of Mars and in the Hour of the Moon and there is radicality by enjoyment of mutual powers of the Lady of the Hour, Moon, and of the Ascendant, Venus; besides they are in the one and same triplicity. But the Moon, who is Lady of the Hour and in the 1st house is in the sign of her fall. She is in the same sign as Saturn, Lord of the 4th and provides obstacle or buries the result. The Sun at 25AR43, he being L10 and close to the Descendant gives virtue to the guests. It's a hard one.

1) My personal opinion is that the price for backing Arsenal is poor, but I don't want to play WestHam either, with an Eastern sign on the cusp of the West. My guess is a draw, but it could slip either way. I'm not playing this one.

2) In the Championship I'm vouching with Barnsley. The price is good and the Sun, who is exalted and L10, is only a degree away from the cusp of the 7th.

3) In the Bluesquare I am trying Cambridge (although I am a slight Kiddeminster fan!). The reason is that the cusp of the 10th is in the 1st degree of Leo and this adds some local excitement to the placement of the Sun in the 7th.

The two latter games can be played seperately or in a double at the price of 8,50:1. Or just stay away - I've seen easier charts than this.

Barnsey took the lead 0-2. By the way, the game started 2 minutes late, so the Sun was closer the angle.

OK - so my strategy was ?30 on Barnsley, and ?30 on the double Barnsley+Cambridge.
The latter failed, but Barnsley's victory brought home ?110

Judgement on this chart is based on somewhat simpler rules. With nothing specific going on in the chart, Mars, LHr, rules the 7th house. Sun, L10, is in the 7th - so the away team, who are favourites by odds should be able to win the match. Playing the two matches as a double and with a 0-1 handicap against ManC the total odds are 2,53:1. I'm trying it!

This chart is basically the same as the game in Manchester, but Venus is a little wide of an exact aspect to POF, and neither does Neptune make an exact antiscia to the asc. So here there is a Battle of Forces, considering the lack of radicality and arguments given Aalborg in the game in Denmark. Everton are certainly strong, but I am speculating that a draw may be possible. Palace are bound to put up a fight and the scoreline 2-2 is priced at 19:1.

The non-radical charts with the LHr ruling the 7th house shifted power towards the guests in every case. Viborg got an early red card and Aalborg did their job, but could have won by 4 or 5 goals. More suprisingly, the underdogs took unexpected strength in the Premiership. Crystal P were an impressive peg stronger than the 2-2 estimate I was looking for and Sunderland were a peg stronger than ManC expected, too. The combination of the ManC draw and Everton defeat was priced at about 80:1!!

My combinations all run at loss this evening. Oh well, the strength of the British underdogs should be paid some attention. I enjoyed the study!

PS: The Sun, L10, approaching the Moon's South node and Luna in her fall and at 15 Scorpio may have weakened the home team favourites. Even Viborg (underdogs) playing at home were impedeted by an early red card. I reckon that the Moon in Scorpio in the 1st house also said something about Barcelona (Cancer) being defeated 1-2 by Real Madrid in the Spanish Cup final (Copa Del Rey) due to a late goal by Bale. The game started at 19.30 UTC and was played in Valencia. There may have been a pattern.

When we have something like this, dealing with the over-all picture - maybe we should be considering the state of radicality, together with the state of the Moon and lights in general. As I have mention before; the Moon shows the ACTION, what PASSES or HAPPENS; but the Sun SETS THE BACKGROUND SCENE.

Should probably look around to see whether there is a similar case lay hidden in the days to come with the Sun conjunct that South Node.

Long shots for Long Friday in the Championship

I think the challenge today is dealing with the Sun riding the Dragon's tail. Funny things could happen, or the day could be void of reason. I don't know how far this can be stretched, but avoid the trap.

The chart is radical by triplicity. The Sun/South Node is inconjunct the ascendant. This causes me to move away from the favourite go for the long shot, which is the Draw. Maybe Burnley would be happy to secure advancement at home?

Bournemouth - Sheffield W 2-4 !!

I made money on this game and it was exciting, too! Sheffield W were ahead 1-2 after the first half before Bournemouth equalized in the 57th minute. Here I decided to enter a live stake on Sheffield W winning it at the price of 5:1. Then they were awarded a red card and were down to 10 players from the 63rd minute. In the 85th minute the odds were 15:1 and I almost added but then they scored the 2-3 goal. How they did it I don't know, but in the 95th minute they increased the lead to 2-4. Obviously, there was extra time and the ref blew the whistle after 97minutes and 20 secs!

Wolverhampton - Rotherham 6-4!! You don't see that very often.
