Thanks for the updates Stefan. I'm a little confused as to how this affects the trial due to begin on 2nd October. I was always interested in this as it was scheduled to begin the same day as the Sam Bankman Fried trial, although that is now set to start in 3rd October (I'll be making a post about that today). The case seems to have wide implications and has been under the radar news wise. Here is what the Washinton Post reported last week:

The issues likely to be reviewed at trial stem from what former Trump attorney and confidant Michael Cohen testified before Congress in February 2019. At that session, Cohen called the then-president a “con man” and said Trump routinely lied about his wealth to cheat lenders, insurance brokers and tax authorities.

I have no experience in this kind of trial chart so I am not sure about it.
But if I understand it correctly the Attorney is 1st house
Trump is 7th as defender and the judge is 10th house.
If such a chart for the trial does mirroring the outcome it's peculiar that the attorney (1st house) seems very very weak.
Mars ruling the attorney is in detriment in the 12th house on the south node. Mars is on beneficial star * Spica which may compensate a little.
Hard to find more weakness in his position.
Wonder if the fact that Attorney Letitia James is having millions of new secret enemies out there as a target for the often violent right wing
supporters to Trump is mirrored by that position in the 12th ?


Trump is stronger symbolized by Venus in Leo angular on 10th (fittingly with Leo showing pride and drama).
Jupiter on descendent and an exalted Moon in 7th seems good for Trump, is a bit strange I think, since the case seems quite straightforward with numbers
and facts which is not easy to hide.
There is a mutual reception with sun (judge) and Venus ( Trump) which may be good for him.
Moon is going to Uranus which may be sudden turns in the development. Moon applies also to a square to Venus in 10th (judge)
which may be negative.

By this it seems not so bad for Trump maybe ?

But maybe worth checking if the timeline of the start of trial holds up,

Oh, thanks Stefan. I am itching to add some observations but will have to make them very quick today as I already have about 30 plates spinning. So fascinating to see Venus and Jupiter angular like that - the two planets that combine to show problems rooted in greed. This signature was a major point of exploration in a presentation I gave last weekend, which delved into how this same Venus-MC/Jup-Desc manifested in the chart of Bernie Madoff, and which also demonstrated the similarity between Madoff's chart and Trump's. This signature appeared again in the 2022 Solar Return of Sam Bankman-Fried, which is why it is more than a coincidence that his trial will start around the same time as this trial is starting for Trump. So I don't see this pronounced Venus-Jupiter as a necessarily 'good' theme - it is obviously very radical since the Moon-Uranus conjunction in the 7th aligns with Trump's MC while Venus aligns with his asc. And it is very fitting to the implications of fraud, corruption or being too 'easy' about finances or taking too many liberties. But given that, and since Venus is the 12th-ruler, applying to the opposition of Saturn, I think the strongly emphasised 'benefics' here are raising issues rather than denoting blessings for Trump.

Yes, in a chart like this we usually give the ascendant to whoever initiates the action by bringing the case to court (the prosecutor). Any event chart can only be read as something related to a radix chart so I wouldn't go on a limb with this chart as a stand alone. Although Mars is weak in the 12th, this could be descriptive of a modus operandi, with the applying sextile to Venus on the MC presenting success for a long subversive tactic. Look forward to other comments and will enjoy reflecting on this more when I have a clearer mind.

Hi ... out of curiousity I looked up the initial indictment, used the creation date on the PDF for the chart. If the 1st goes to the lawyer, Mars rules and is in the 8th. Given that the charge is about fraud involving lying to banks and insurance companies I don't think this placement is as dire as it looks. The Moon in the 10th shows the public interest in the case and that it was filed against a prominent person. The 7th would be Trump, ruled by Venus in the 11th (his 5th) so he has prominent friends and the case is about speculation, risks. The Sun critical at 29 Virgo shows, I think, powerful friends who may be considering separating themselves from Trump

In the trial chart it is the partile opposition between Mercury (legal filings?) and Neptune (fraud) across the 4th/10th axis. Thanks Deb. For the time, I downloaded the PDF file and checked the Document Properties for the creation timestamp; assumed, as it was an electronic filing with an available PDF that the the PDF was generated when the system accepted the filing.

Yes the trial chart to the left is also describing the prosecutor Letitia James.

Yes that one aspect applying mars sextile MC (judge) is good for her. And actually she had already won the trial in sorts already as the trial is only about how much Donald Trump will lose - not whether he win or lose.
