by Andrew Bevan Ptolemy: Venus has the same powers and tempered nature as Jupiter, but acts in the opposite way; for she warms moderately because of her nearness to the Sun, but chiefly humidifies. Moisture cools Venus, or else she would be like Mars. Mars burns because the drying power of the Sun cuts off his access to moisture. Jupiter is a step back off from the drying influence of the Sun, so he is more moist than Mars - but there is less moisture on the Saturn end of the league (keeping the discussion topical), so the influence of Jupiter is mainly warming. The influence of Venus is mainly moist, her temperature is moderated. Now the Moon is cool, but not like Saturn - atlhough their spheres are equidistant the Sun. The reason being that she shares so much in the light of the Sun. While Venus is moist, the Moon is WET. http://www.astronor.com Quote Fri Mar 14, 2008 7:21 pm

by Goca Schalke vs Barselona 1.April 2008 8:45pm gmt+2 7e05 51n30 asc=20Li18 ASC=Schalke(blue/white sport kit) L1 is on unfortunate fixed star Markab "star of sorrow" and MC is in same degreee with Nodes, another bad sign for Schalke. Moon is VOC. Althought accidental dignities for Ve=11 and Ma=5 I trhink Schalke will not win. Moon aspect AMa and POF is on SN so I think it will be enought for Barsa to win. 53 by Ficina Roma v ManU kicks off at the same time, so the charts are similar but there are some differences. The hour ruler is different. Using traditional criteria the charts aren't radical but according to Andrew's additional criteria, they are. Signs on MC/IC are different. Roma - home team, ManU - faves. Using colours I think Roma get the Desc with their rusty red/orange. There are a couple of minor testimonies for them. Moon trine ant Mars (L7) which Goca mentioned and ant Saturn (L4) conj Desc (1 deg inside 7th). POF conj SN would be a testimony against the faves but I think 3 degs is too wide. This is a difficult one to call. After the way ManU played at the weekend, you'd expect them to beat everybody! In fact every time I check the prices, their odds have shortened. With Moon VOC and no major testimonies for either side, I'll go for a draw, but I wouldn't put money on it. Quote Tue Apr 01, 2008 2:00 pm

by Goca ... but I think 3 degs is too wide. Yes, Ficina I wonder about that too... With Moon VOC and no major testimonies for either side, I'll go for a draw, but I wouldn't put money on it. One more testimony for draw is ruler of Moon rx... Greetings, Goca http://www.astrosport07.webs.com http://fensi88.livejournal.com/ Quote Tue Apr 01, 2008 3:50 pm
by Ficina I was fairly confident about their beating Roma tonight till I read your post Oh dear, sorry Gem. I could easily be wrong and anyway this is only the first leg. ManU should have no problems at Old Trafford. Remember this time last year, they beat Roma 7-1! One more testimony for draw is ruler of Moon rx... Oh yes, Goca, I'd forgotten that one. In fact we have the same situation in tomorrow's games. When I initially had a quick look at all four games, I had a feeling they might all end in draws... Quote Tue Apr 01, 2008 4:12 pm
by Andrew Bevan I wonder whether the question of who gets the asc could be decided by looking at how the teams performed the last time they met... If ManU beat Rome in the socks the last time they met, it could be possible to give ManU the asc on that reason - because they would be defending their earlier victory? Just another idea.. http://www.astronor.com Quote Tue Apr 01, 2008 7:29 pm

by Ficina Well done, Goca Roma 0 - 2 ManU Happy to have got it wrong Maybe it's not worth looking at the chart when ManU are playing - just presume they'll always win! Yet another outstanding performance. Quote Tue Apr 01, 2008 8:45 pm

I think 'feral' might be the correct term. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Arsenal-Liverpool, 19.45 BST, April 2. Odds: 2,25 2,95 3,70 Asc 15LI52 MC 20CN52 Moon 28AQ47 POF/POS 1VI17 Moon is VOC from her own face The match is played on the Dy of Mercury and Hr of the Sun. The chart is made radical by the opposition of the LHr to the radical ascendant. Radicality is achieved, but with difficulty. The Moon, L10, is VOC. Jupiter who is ExL10, is on the IC. Saturn, who is L4, is conjunct POF/POS. The draw does seem a possibility. http://www.astronor.com Quote Tue Apr 01, 2008 10:03 pm
