by Andrew Bevan Brondby/Odense Yes, Ficina. Mars as L4 on the 7th could do it for the guest team, at the same time as Mars is an infortune and could deliver the game to the marginal underdogs by odds. However, L4 could also be the draw and I noticed that the planetary hour was on the change and could indicate the same thing. So I agree with your judgement entirely. Re. SonderjyskE/Randers - it comes down to POF conj. the infortune Saturn. We will see. http://www.astronor.com Quote Sun Jul 19, 2009 10:46 am
by Andrew Bevan S?nderjyskE - Randers FC 1-0 Herf?lge - Silkeborg 1-1 Br?ndby - OB Odense 2-2 Well done on Herfolge/Silkeborg, Ficina. You went for a score draw and were dead on. I think we can collect points on Br?ndby/Odense and believe you will give me half a point for SonderjyskE/Randers: While POF conj Jupiter (a fortune) is good for the favourite, POF conj Saturn (an infortune) is good for the underdog - but the latter does not provide an immediate victory if comparing with yesterday's match between Hafnarfjordur/ Keflavik. One important thing here is that if we add up odds we did it better than the bookmaker, Ficina! That's quite good! http://www.astronor.com Quote Sun Jul 19, 2009 6:08 pm
by Ficina Not a bad effort all round And yes, you certainly get half a point for the first game. You were definitely on the right track there and I was on the wrong one. I've been giving it some thought and can make a case for giving the Asc to the fave, but of course that's easy to say after the event and one must try and stay consistent. I can see how Saturn conj POF could work the same way as Pluto conj POF, i.e. against the faves. However, unlike Pluto, Saturn can be a significator and that tends to confuse things. In this case it seems that Saturn as malefic took precedence over Saturn as L4. I wonder if it would work the same way if Saturn were L1 or L7? Quote Sun Jul 19, 2009 8:17 pm
by Andrew Bevan If Saturn were L1 then maybe the home team was not favourite by odds. http://www.astronor.com Quote Sun Jul 19, 2009 8:28 pm
by taurean Bohemians-Derry yesterday: the chart was "nothingy", the home team favorites won 1:0, the only data worth mentioning is MC partile conjunct fixed star Spica. Does it matter - who knows... Home team favorites MC, one can say it does, if there are no other testimonies. For today, Aarhus-Alborg 19:00. Uranus trine POF 0?00. Does it mean the unexpected (underdog win) or favorite win by e.g. scoring a fluke goal, from a corner without touch, etc.? I have to add, according to the odds, there is no clear favorite nor underdog here. L10 Venus sits on the desc. The other one is Jaro-Tampere 19:00. In this case L4 Mars sits on the desc. MC is conjunct Spica again, 1?. APOF trine L10 Venus. We will see... Quote Mon Jul 20, 2009 2:11 pm
by taurean Aarhus-Aalborg 1:0. The goal came in the very first minute, it might be an Uranian influence. L10 on the desc - it may helped the home team, I guess. Jaro-Tampere 0:0. Now I would say Spica on MC is not a factor. Quote Mon Jul 20, 2009 8:31 pm

Aarhus-Aalborg 1:0. The goal came in the very first minute, it might be an Uranian influence. Congratulations! I will take not of this! L10 on the desc - it may helped the home team, I guess. I never know which way to go with these descendent cases. I hate them. Venus, L10, at 17GE04, opposite the Asc at 16SG20. The game was played in the hour of Jupiter and the chart was radical with Sagittarius on the ascendant. Then Jupiter, L1+LHr, at 25LI06 was trine MC at 25LI42. This must have been the tightest aspect going. The combination of L1 and L10 must have done it for the home team. Jaro-Tampere 0:0. Now I would say Spica on MC is not a factor. This would be my observations on Regulus, too. So no need to add the fixed stars in these sort of considerations. http://www.astronor.com Quote Tue Jul 21, 2009 3:15 am
by Andrew Bevan Tuesday, Sweden Superrettan: Norrkoping - Mjallby, 19.15 CST Norrkoping 58N36 16E11 Odds: 2,60 3,25 2,55 Day Mars, Hour Mercury - not radical The lack of radicality may make this a Honky Tonk kind of game. Mercury, LHr, at 7LE41 is also L7. He casts his square to the MC at 6SC52 trhough signs of long ascension. Mjallby are at the top of the league and have won 6 out of 7 away games and not lost one! Norrkoeping have won only 1 of their 7 home games. 2,55:1 is a good price for Mjallby! --------------------------------------- PS. Odds have been changing during the day and at 12.30 CST they are; 2,80 3,40 2,30 http://www.astronor.com Quote Tue Jul 21, 2009 3:29 am
by taurean Norrk?ping-Mjallby 0:1 - nicely done, Andrew! Apart from the facts you mentioned, I saw nothing on the chart. So it was OK for modest betting as well. I checked the club colors too on Wikipedia - I like when the colors support the who-is-who decision originally made on the basis of being home or favorite. In this case it was OK. 58 by Andrew Bevan Thank you, Taurean! I made money on that bet! Two games that don't look to difficult for the Champions League on Wednesday: FK Aktobe - FH Hafnarfj?rdur, 17.00 BST, Aktobe 50N17 57E10 Odds: 1,75 3,50 4,20 Asc 29CP02 MC 29SC53 Moon 7LE55 POF 6AQ58 Day Mercury, Hour Mars Aktobe beat Hafnarfjordur 0-4 in Iceland. Here the tightest aspect is the Sun's trine to the MC, so I think the favourites will get it. 1,75:1 is a good price considering that Aktobe now are playing at home. FK Mogren - FC Copenhagen, 19.30 BST, Budva 42N17 18E50 Odds: 4,80 3,75 1,60 Asc 6AQ47 MC 29SC11 Moon 9LE29 POF 16AQ11 Day Mercury, Hour Saturn - Radical The Moon is conjunct Mercury, Lord of Day, in the 7th. The Sun, L7, casts his antiscia to the 4th. I expect Copenhagen will show their colours. They won the first leg 6-0. 1,60:1 is a good price. http://www.astronor.com Quote Tue Jul 21, 2009 8:13 pm

by Andrew Bevan Here is my thoughts on some of Thursday's Europa League games, but some of them appear quite tricky and quite frankly there is too much traffic. I am posting them here so we can discuss. I would suggest selecting only those game that provided sufficient confidence: Flora Tallin ? Brondby, 17.45 CST Tallinn 59N26 24E44 ? 090723FL Odds: 5,25 3,60 1,57 Asc 10SG46 MC 24LI17 Moon 22LE48 POF 2CP38 Day Jupiter, Hour Sun ? radical by triplicity This is an interesting contest. Flora Tallin won the first leg 0-1. The Sun, LHr, is in the same sign as Mercury, L7, and Mercury is trine the ascendant, however, the most exact aspect in the chart is Jupiter at 24AQ47 trine the MC. The Moon translates Venus, L10, to Jupiter, L10. This one is hard to call. Flora Tallin at 5,25:1 is a great price. Radicality by triplicity could indicate a draw. Qarabagh ? Rosenborg, 17.00 CST, Baku 40N23 49E53 Odds: 8,60 4,40 1,33 Asc 14CP20 MC 8SC45 Moon 22LE20 POF 5A46 Day Jupiter, Hour Mercury ? shares powers with CP and Saturn. Mercury is in the same sign as the Moon, L7. POF cast antiscia to 24SC14 and is square the fortune Jupiter at 24AQ48. The first leg ended 0-0. However, the favourites should get it. Halad?s ? IF Elfsborg, 19.00 CST, Szombathely 47N14 16E37 ? 090723ES Odds: 3,00 3,30 2,15 Asc 4CP55 MC 5SC28 Moon 23LE34 POF 27CP31 Day Jupiter, Hour Venus ? radical by triplicity The Lady of the Hour is L4, but in the same sign as L10. Jupiter at 24AQ47 casts his antiscia to 5SC13 and is conjunct the MC. Saturn, L1, is trine the antiscia of his dispositor, Mercury, at 18TA24. It would appear that the first house and the home team had the greatest fortitude. Elfsborg won the first leg 3-0. Considering the type of radicality and Venus ruling the 4rth, I might guess a draw. HJK Helsinki ? Vetra, 18.00 CST Helsinki 60N11 24E55 ? 090723HE Odds: 1,45 3,80 6,75 Asc 12SG19 MC 28LI27 Moon 22LE57 POF 4CP20 Day Jupiter, Hour Sun ? radical by triplicity and powers The Lord of the Hour is in the sign of L7, Mercury, who is 11LE31 and trine the Asc. Antiscia Pluto at 28SG46 is sextile the MC. Helsinki won the first leg 0-1. I am not convinced. This could be a good day for the underdog. Tromso - Dinamo Minsk, 19.00 CST Tromso 69N40 18E58 Odds: 1,60 3,60 5,00 Ac 26SC25 MC 7SC53 Moon 23LE34 POF 19SG01 Day Jupiter, Hour Sun ? shares powers with Mars, radical The first leg ended 0-0. Now Tromso are at home but they are an unstable team, as much as I know them, and are located in the 2nd half of the Norwegian Elite League, Tippeligaen. However, the chart is radical and Uranus at 26PI25 casts and exact trine to the ascendant. POF is square Saturn at 18VI32, which could be a draw or underdog. Tromso will probably caper through on Uranus, but the price is not impressive. HB T?rshavn - AC Omonia Nicosia, 20.00 CST Torshavn 62N00 06W47 Odds: 6,50 4,00 1,45 Asc 8SG12 MC 26LI45 Moon 24LE12 POF 1CP23 Day Jupiter, Hour Sun ? radical by triplicity and powers The Moon translates Venus, L10, to Jupiter, L1, but by opposition. The Lord of the Hour is in the same sign as the L7. Mars, L4, at 8GE06 hold the tightest aspect and opposes the ascendant. AC Omonia Niscosia won the first leg 3-0. I expect they will win the return match with the help of Mars. Last edited by Andrew Bevan on Thu Jul 23, 2009 8:12 am, edited 1 time in total. http://www.astronor.com Quote Wed Jul 22, 2009 10:01 pm
