It hasn't filtered down to the poor so much yet.

I do think the worst will be over by about the end of May, these charts do top sharply and then drop sharply. Like the 1918 Spanish flu it probably won't completely go away for a while, and there may be much smaller secondary waves, but the numbers will drop dramatically.

I am sure that Covid19 has started to reach other groups, but it seemed to be overwhelmingly brought back to the UK by ski trippers in the Alps and their wealthy friends who they mix with, and passed around in wealthy circles. Though London forces all kinds of people into proximity on the transport systems, and yes it seems highly infectious given a bit of time. It is now getting into other niches.

However, I am discovering things here and there… such as our quarterly figures all following Scorpio rising for the next 12 months hence, both Aries and Cancer are sharing 24 degrees. Libra is at the beginning of Scorpio and Capricorn is at the end of the sign Scorpio.

We all are aware that the tragic COVID 19 pandemic and its effects overlap many nations… I just wanted to point out this is the US chart and I would like to do my reading, however limited, accordingly.

So, saying this, what struck me first by looking at the chart was the overpacked 2nd house. We know that due to the arrival of this “new virus??? our nation’s financial condition such as commerce, trade and stock exchange are in disarray. The lord of the ascendant, Mars is in this house affecting Budget in Parliament as Jupiter in fall is besieged by Mars and Pluto. All three of them lie at 2nd decan of Mars (Chaldean decans) and Mars rules epidemics and infectious diseases.

Correction: Mars, Jupiter and Pluto lie at 3rd decan, ruled by the Sun. They are parallels as well.

Next, I noticed Uranus @ 4 Taurus 33’. This planet, who causes sudden mischief, conjuncts the cusp of 6th house… Mars’ joy. I’m amazed to see that the solar eclipse of last December (though not visible from the US) has partile conjunction (@ 4 Capricorn) with South Node (so we missed the eclipse, I’m glad!). I think this extremely tight trine between Uranus and SN is the root of what we have witnessed: the unpleasant chaos among panic-stricken shoppers at various supermarkets and food supply chains.

2nd house is called Gate of Hades. It doesn’t sound good. Sure enough, Uranus in Taurus trine SN encourages strange behaviors such as hoarding of toilet papers -- some called it GLUTTONY (it’s very possible that Pluto in 2nd with Mars/Jupiter also contributes to this). Deb said, “Ibn Ezra placed food under this house and we may assume that in mundane charts it influences the status and value of the nation’s crops, produce, general resources and essential supplies???. I think people suddenly buying up various food supplies also shows the effect of 2nd and 6th houses (H6 is called Bad Fortune and traditionally rules public illness and a nation’s food supplies).

From the 6th house we can see peoples’ realization regarding their vulnerability to epidemics. Therefore, the desire to protect themselves caused short supplies of surgical masks, gloves, disinfectants. Our local news (I’m in San Francisco) said the city of Berkeley is asking people to donate unused surgical masks, etc. for their hospital workers. These are yet another of Uranus and SN effects in the vernal ingress chart.

Just curious how some Americans display their lack of common sense.

The new Moon chart shows quite properly it is in the 1st house and 1st decan ruled by Mars. There are square aspects between the new Moon and the Nodes. South Node is in 11th house and North Node is in 5th house – this shows indiscretion and lack of common sense. People are gathering in a group with the expectation that something good will come from the social event despite the government’s plea not to gather. Here is one of those examples I read this morning by Bill Melugin at FOX 11 Los Angeles:

I noticed that a comet named Atlas is making an appearance & it will be brightest towards the end of May brighter than Venus in the night sky. Historic link with pestilence & the appearance of comets?
The Babylonians would determine the divine will by viewing the night sky & would worry whether the Gods were pleased or wrathful as a result of human activity on earth.
To understand the south node as it passed the December eclipse point I reflected on Jonah as he tried to avoid God's will fleeing on a ship to another country the ship was overwhelmed by a storm & everybody could perish onboard, each prayed to their Gods but nothing changed Jonah admitted it was his God that was the cause of the storm & told them to throw him overboard.
On doing so the seas became calm & Jonah was swallowed by a whale where he prayed to God for repentance & he was delivered to do God will. The nodes create karmic crises & change of directions. I reflected on this as we approach the first anniversary of the deliberate destruction of the Notre Dame Cathedral
during this pandemic crisis.

Venus rules 6th house. Besides things I mentioned earlier such as public illness, nation’s food supplies, etc., Venus as L6 also represents many other fields: working classes, public employees, civil service, armed forces, battleships, etc. Although she is situated in a cadent and a malefic house, she is in domicile so basically strong, and Venus in 6th house favors the Navy. Here, I am referring to USNS Comfort, a hospital ship of the United States Navy.

Also, there is sextile aspect between Venus (hospital ship) and H4 Neptune in Pisces (chaotic conditions in hospitals) – The New York Times is not so hopeful about the government’s plan for using Comfort… though square, considering NYC’s hostile situation, I think the aspect between the Moon and Venus will bring positive results. Because both planets have essential dignities in other’s signs therefore, they will receive each other. Also, the Moon has exaltation and triplicity in Taurus where Venus rules.

Aries Ingress continues … Scorpio at the cusp of 12th house.

Earlier, I wrote Mars rules epidemics and infectious diseases and that it seems to be our main secret enemy for the rest of the Sun Cycle. At a task briefing back in January 31, Dr. Fauci said that asymptomatic transmission is absolutely the case. He was reporting about a case in Germany (it was one of the early reports that showed to many of us who followed the news that the virus could be transmitted to a healthy person by an infected person who hadn’t showed any symptoms).

Hearing the news from Germany back in January, I immediately recalled the unforgettable opening phrase, “It was about the beginning of September, 1664, that I, among the rest of my neighbours heard in ordinary discourse that the plague was returned again in Holland…??? by Daniel Defoe, A Journal of the Plague Year (1722). Anyway, I think the reason Defoe came to mind was that I was already anticipating a large spread of the disease.

As I understand it, according to the Cycle of Pluto, 10th house rules our president, it also extends to governors and mayors as well. I wonder that partile sextile between Pluto at 24 Capricorn 40’ and Ascendant at 24 Scorpio 48’ on our nation’s Vernal ingress chart is more than a coincidence. Therefore, here I will designate Mercury as president, governors and mayors. However, there are so many knowledgeable folks at Skyscript so please let me know if you find any mistakes, as I’m just starting on a mundane subject and I would like to learn more.

Aries Ingress continues … 3rd house matter

It is hard not to notice that Saturn, the H3 ruler, has been very strict with us: it has downgraded our freedom of movement by limiting access to traveling, etc.

In Solar chart, 3rd house rules transportation, especially short distance travel. H3 also rules US Post Office (emphasis on local deliveries). The Moon in 3rd house (Moon’s joy) indicates a lot of action in that field. She is afflicted by square and peregrine; the Moon here shows much discontent among postal employees. Last night (April 3, 2020), when the Moon was found in 9th house (long distance travel and foreign correspondence) I heard the news saying US Postal Service could shut down by June. Progressed Moon at 3 Leo 11 was squaring to Uranus at the cusp of 6th house.
