Sweet of you too, Andrew though you'll never know how many times in my life I vowed to keep my mouth shut.

Moon's aspects usually indicate the sequence of event. There's also a use of real time, noting the time planets crossing the angles. For example, in the Arsenal/Spurs chart yesterday, when Saturn was on the AC, its likely that was the time Arsenal were under attack, and so on...

I have an ice-hockey chart here which I am including under this section because it is an excellent example of where the underdogs can take vicotry.

It is being played between Stjernen (the Norwegain word for 'the Star') and Trondheim. They are both at the bottom of the table with Trondheim last. I can't remember when Trondheim last won a game. They are most certainly the Derby of the Norwgian ice-hockey league.

But look at the chart. The Moon is conjunct the 7th house and applies the Midheavan by sextile. Saturn, L7, is conjunct PoS/PoF. Victory should go to Trondheim for sure at the price of 2,8:1.

I've only had a quick glance at the chart but will add a couple of more testimonies.
Testimonies for DC team: L4 trine AC and anti-Moon in 4th.
Testimonies for AC team: anti-POS in 10th and anti-Saturn in 10th

If POF is in Leo, it'll be a testimony for AC team.

65
POS/POF is not in Leo. Gem, are you saying that if L7 is joined to POS/POF but these case their antiscia to the 10th house then the victory goes to the team that posesses the 10th house?

Stjernen beat Trondheim 5-2. Somebody explain it to me. Does Trondheim loose by default to the second lowest team in the league with an event chart like this!!?

The upcoming solar eclipse will occur at 17AQ44, so either the Moon is withing 2 degrees of this point or it is applying to the eclipse degree. But this is not perfected before the Moon makes its sextile to the MC.

Sorry to hear about the 'wrong' result.

No I wasn't. It's because I always look at both. I saw one in your chart but didn't work out where the other one was.

Going over the testimonies given by you, the Moon on the DC doesn't necessarily favour the DC team. The bodily conjunction of a sig with POF/POS isn't a strong testimony either(if it's Moon, it is a strong testimony).
As you know, the Fortuna's postion is related to the phase of Moon. When at the New Moon it's on AC but this does not necessarily support the AC team; its antiscion position, however, can be anywhere in the chart and appears to offer stronger testimonies than the bodily position. Refferring to the testimonies I gave for the AC team, anti-POS in 10th is a strong testimony for the AC team and anti- Saturn in the 10th means that DC team were in the hands of the AC team.

Thanks Gem. Your reasoning regarding the antiscia of POF/POS is good. Apart from that we give the antiscia aspect and 'uncertain' meaning. I want to get back to the basics of this project into prediciton of sports results. When my involvement started, apsects to POF/POS gave the result almost without fail. There has been a plague of draws and now some unexpected discoveries. Now I want to take these predictions back to the drawing board before putting money on the table. The hazards are obvious. Prediction by use of the horary chart has been much more straight forward in my experience.

I noted that the moon in yesterdays chart was applying to the degree of the oncoming eclipse. But that doesn't satisfy me entirely. I feel that if I want to put money on the table and back a game, then my reasons for wanting to do this should be reliable. I continue to look for games that provide the correct criteria.

We used to say "Arsenal wins by default", so I suppose Derby (or Trondheim ice hockey club) can loose by default too. But it is not a good arguement when the chart suggests elsewise - and how else can you detect when the underdog will overpower the favourite??

I think our criteria should be narrowed down to producing results.

It seemed there were mixed testimonies in this chart, Andrew, and in these cases I suppose it's best to leave it alone. The testimony Gem mentioned of antiscion PoF conj an angle is one that John Frawley rates extremely highly. He says it is one of the most powerful single testimonies for a win. Obviously it's not something that occurs all that often but when it does I have found it to work.

Sunderland v Portsmouth

Asc 21,50 Gem

Portsmouth are very marginal faves. Moon square antiscion Jupiter (L7) indicates that Portsmouth will score. Ant Jupiter in 7th. I don't think this is enough for Portsmouth to win so I'd go for a draw, possibly 1-1. Have I missed anything?

If the antiscion of Saturn was conjunct MC in Andrew's ice hockey chart, it would have been a powerful testimony but it was just in the 10th. I didn't mean to take the credit for the reasons for using antiscia, by the way.

Jupiter is on the cusp of 8th in my chart. I agree a draw is likely but what do you think about the position of Mercury? According to JF, isn't it placed in a strong position??

Can Bolton beat Blackburn? (odds: 2.30, 3.25, 2.60)
13 Jan 16:00 AC 21 Can 9
Will the Moon in 10 and its trine to anti-POS be enough? Any other testimonies?

71
It's antiscion Jupiter just inside 7th. Sorry, I was abbreviating. I'm still not convinced about a planet conj MC on the cadent side. I know JF says it's a strong position but we've discussed this before haven't we? It's separating in real time :-?

I didn't think you were taking the credit at all. I'd been re-reading what JF said about the antiscion PoF and just wanted to bring it to Andrew's attention because he doesn't have the book - yet :brows

Mercury is placed in such a position. I'm not convinced about it either but does JF say it's powerful only for anti-POF?

I added a bit to my last post. Any thoughts?
