Not really. Liverpool of course wanted to win, having been humiliated by Spurs lately (were talking about revenge) and fielded a strongish team while Spurs' weren't their strongest team.

Good point, Gem. However, I have to disagree about Liverpool fielding a strongish team. Benitez had made 10 changes, neither Gerrard not Carragher were playing and even the radio commentators described them as a makeshift side. Redknapp made 7 changes so I agree it wasn't Spurs' strongest team either.

I think this might be true to a certain extent, but even so Spurs completely outplayed Liverpool and apparently Benitez was looking embarrassed. Maybe it was the fans who wanted revenge rather than the manager? Anyway, out of the three cup matches last night, Spurs were the only favourites who won.

Well they only managed 1-0, but I cashed in on a quadruple by playing 4 favourites today.

I am considering a similar outfall in both matches. I am questioning the strength of the Moon, L1, although she is more properly square the MC in the Chesterfield game where the home team are favourites by odds. But I am giving new priority to Jupiter, L10, who is in the 7th but not sitting on the angle and who now is within 1 degree of the trine to his dispositor. Because the price is fair it is possible to stake an away win in both matches and if only one of them comes right then the total sum still ends in a profit.

Alternatively play ?2 on each single and ?1 on the double (total odds: 6,63) This way there is a potential prize of ?16.93 if both matches are correct. If only one match works out you still come clean and get your money back because of the price.

Going by observations from previous examples:

Bristol Rovers/Scunthorpe
L4 partile trine MC - away team wins.

Chesterfield/Shrewsbury
L1 partile square MC - home team loses.

Jupiter (L10) has been seen mostly to favour the home teams (even when it's 2 degs from Desc) but my thinking is that this testimony will be outranked by those partile aspects to MC, especially in Scunthorpe's case since they are marginal faves.

Chesterfield - Shrewsbury 2-2

Oh dear, I had a feeling that the Moon square the MC through signs of short ascension might be a testimony for Chesterfield. If this was the case, then the draw was quite fair. We were doing so well with Shrewsbury 2 goals ahead and then Chesterfield scored and then were awarded a penalty.

Fortunately Scunthorpe saved the day and kept the books in balance...
