Let's take a look at this with James' bi-wheel chart in mind. Worsdale wrote:

At the time he was drowned, the Sun Jupiter and Venus were in conjunction in the watery sign Cancer, and descended below the Western Horizon,

From a timing standpoint I interpreted this as an indication that when Worsdale writes "At the time he was drowned" he means the time of day that it happened and at the time of day Sun Jupiter and Venus were below the horizon at the moment of death. This would place the time of death at about 8:30 PM LMT.

James' bi-wheel however brings up another possibility. Worsdale may have meant that regardless of the actual time of death (which as I pointed out in an earlier post, he could not have known), on that day, Sun Jupiter and Venus were below the horizon of the natal chart. If he places the transiting Moon on the natal ASC, this works out to a time of death about 3:00 PM which, to me, if far more likely given the child's age and what I would think would be a short distance between home and school if the child were allowed to walk himself.

I got to thinking that age 7 in the US is first or second grade and I walked to school myself at that age, but the walk was very short. But I didn't go to school in July. So "At the time he drowned" may not mean time of death or time of day, but rather "on that day." Then looking at the distance traveled of the Moon on that day, if he puts the hyleg on the ASC he gets the Sun Jupiter and Venus below the natal horizon at that time, which is more symbolic.

He also notes Castor and Pollux. Robson, who wrote some 100 years after Worsdale tells us that the Sun on Castor indicates "serious accidents," and Sun on Pollux gives a violent death. Keep in mind Worsdale uses orbs for fixed stars that we might consider very generous.

This possibility satisfies quite a bit of my objections to what he wrote. He may not have been gilding the lily after all and instead, we're looking at some first rate astrology.

this chart seems to symbolically support the event of kents early death from a few different astrological angles and approaches. this chart is based on a progressed rate of 1 day per lunation cycle - 1/29.53059027778= .033863190359 in other words a synodic month..
i entered this ratio into the user progression rate in the 'edit settings' preference menu in solar fire to get this chart. it is not one of the basic progressed charts that solar fire will generate automatically for the user.. one has to first figure out what the rate is and then do the adjustments in the astro software program.. the mean tertiary progressed chart in the triwheel in my previous post is based off the sidereal month 27.321661 days. this chart seems to back up worsdales concerns better from my own viewpoint.
