I laughed so much, it left me in stitches, and I had trouble drying the tears out of my eyes! And then a client was on the phone - which put me in a right mess trying to collect myself!

Interesting that the Ajax-Twente game and ManC-Blackburn produced the same 2-2 result. When the 30min difference in match start and difference in location was taken into consideration - the MC's were 29' apart and the Asc's but 53'.

The reason I mention and repeat this point this is because of the similar combat between teams equally located in each countries table - and the similarities of the charts resembled matches in the UK being played at the same time.

I haven't looked at the Amsterdam match but the same number of goals may be explained by Ficina's use of real time, planets crossing the angles in real time. This seems to be a very good technique. At some point in the game, Saturn(Blackburn) was on the AC and this could have been a decisive factor.

Looking ahead at the weekend Premier League matches, I have no idea about the Derby/Blackburn game. All I can say right now is that Arsenal and Liverpool will probably win and then again I impress no one predicting their win! On the other hand I wouldn't like placing bets when the Moon is VOC as in the Everton/Arsenal match.

The last time the Moon was in Virgo, B'ham beat Spurs 2-3 in the last minute of extra time. I wonder whether the transit will bring excitement to the B'ham teams (B'ham+Villa) this time around, too.

Birmingham will be playing at home against Fulham. I'm not putting a bet on this match - but I am going for Villa playing away against Wigan. The odds 2,4:1 are good considering the fight Villa gave Chelsea. It's one of those 15.00hrs GMT games, but PoF is 7PI01 sextile the Sun in the 7th house. Villa are slight favourites and are the visiting team. The 10th is disposed by Saturn, who receives the trine of the Sun from the 7th.

I'm going for Arsenal away beating Everton, seeing that the Part of Spirit (nocturnal) 5AR28 is square the Sun through signs of short ascension. The odds are quite good here, too, at 2,2:1

The Moon is definitely VOC in Derby/Blackburn game, then squares Jupiter (L7) when it changes sign just after the match begins. Not sure if this will count though, so a draw may be possible.

In Everton/Arsenal game antiscion PoF is conj IC which if it works(!) would favour Arsenal. ManCity/Liverpool, Moon square Jupiter (L10) and opp PoF. Both testimonies favour ManCity. Bearing in mind the calibre of the teams, I wouldn't be surprised to see both games ending in a draw!

Concering all those draws, it's a bit like this: The applying trine between the greater light, the Sun in Capricorn and his dispositor, Saturn, bears an unusual and almost arresting balance or peace of meaning. Ficina, do you give any significance to the square to Mars upon the Moon entering Libra? When the Moon enters Libra, her dispositor, Venus, remains VOC. Sounds REST-LESS to me. In the MC in the Derby/Blackburn game is in the 28th degree of Capricorn. This degree has turned up in some draws previously Best to step to one side and sit on your hands while matches seem uncertain. Keep your fingers crossed for my games, though - Please!

Sorry I meant no Moon aspect within 5 degs.

In Derby/Blackburn, I don't regard the Moon as VOC because it's on the same degs as Venus and closely applying to Mars but when sigs are in conjunction, it often ends in a draw and I don't see any strong testimonies for either side.

Andrew, you make some interesting observations. I tend not to look at these charts symbolically so to me, Moon square Mars would only be significant if Mars were one of the angle rulers. Best of luck with your bets

Moon square or opp PoF is a testimony for the underdogs according to JF, and I have found it to work although not on its own.

In real time, both Saturn and L4 will be on the angles some time in the game, though not sure if that's significant.

Probably more significant than just any old planet crossing an angle. It will be interesting to see.
