Stoke were expected to play a strong defensive, blocking kind of game - which they did! I still thought Liverpool would beat them though According to Andrew's metals method, Liverpool were the Sun which was squaring Pluto

Well done on Blackburn/Fulham I went for a draw there, but I did thankfully have West Ham to win.

The game is played on the Day of the Sun, in the Hour of Saturn. I cannot see the chart radical, which could move the result away from the favourite. The closest aspect I can spy there is Jupiter's trine to the MC. Jupiter is L4 - could that provide a draw?

I'm looking forward to some underdog wins tomorrow. Could W. Brom be one of them? Moon is trine Mars (L1) and Mercury (L10). Moon also squares Uranus which could indicate an upset for the faves. This aspect isn't partile so maybe not so effective as I'm hoping it will be for ManU later

As Andrew says, Jupiter (L4) is partile trine MC. Now how strong a testimony is that? I couldn't find any previous examples. It could be enough for Villa to get a draw - after all, they are the faves, but I do like those Moon aspects for W. Brom. Still making my mind up......

Ficinia, Gem or anyone - we did have some sharp aspects to the Sun last season, can anyone remember? Was that the weekend when ManU was given a beating by City?

I think we have seen something of this nature before?

ManU were beaten by City on 10 Feb - Sun conj Neptune ??

But perhaps you're thinking of that FA Cup weekend when Sun was conj Uranus. Chelsea were beaten by Barnsley and ManU lost at home to Portsmouth, both on 8 March.

Regarding Chelsea - ManU game.... I think that Chelsea will win based on the fact that ManU are facing a difficult period - Saturn squaring natal Moon. ManU will start to recover starting with October.

I didn't think that this aspect had to be platick, considering that Jupiter was disposed by Saturn who was culminating in the chart.

Bearing in mind that ManU have not been playing well and Chelsea are formidable at home, I still think this chart looks good for the Desc team. Moon trine Mars (L4) and Mercury (L7). Moon partile square Uranus suggests an upset, although a square is not as compelling as a conjunction. Moon is angular but Uranus is cadent so this aspect doesn't "stand out" as much as I would like it to.

Against ManU is the fact that Mercury is slowing down to station and is opp antiscion POF - just over 1 deg, so I'm not sure how significant that is.

Chart is radical but hour ruler Sun is VOC. Does this weaken its effect?

An away team/underdog usually needs an emplacement testimony to have any chance of winning, especially against a team like Chelsea. I might stick my neck out and go for a draw, but with common sense telling me Chelsea should win, I am still undecided.

I do like it so much better when you stick your neck out for the astrology, Ficina. ManU certainly know how to score goals and are capable of closing the box behind. Surely they are looking for a scalp to rize from their poor start.
