Healthcare accident 99 by Sebastian The following charts are from someone who was born with a severe health problem related to her heart. Between the 15th and 30th, September 1974, she underwent a catheterization, where something went wrong. For some reason - possibly an equipment malfunction ? it seems an air bubble moved to the brain, causing a damage that led to a stroke of those which are not reversible. In the SR (precession corrected) of 1974-75 are two elements that Jim Eshelman?s in his book ?Interpreting Solar Returns? (taken from this topic in it?s first page) , identifies as worthy of taking into account. The first is that the progressed moon that year made a partile conjunction to Saturn (1) and the second is that there is a very tight aspect between the sun and moon (2). (1a) Quote: ??This, then, isolates the Moon as the most crucial agent in a Solar Return, after the angles. Lunar aspects to natal and solar planets can never be treated lightly, even when rather wide in orb. So remarkable is this single factor that, if lunar aspects are nearly exact while the foreground planets are not exceptionally close to the angles, the solar Moon can be the primary theme-setter of the chart for the year ahead, bar none.? (1b) Quote: ?The secondary progressions of the Solar Moon to the conjunction or opposition of any planet during the solar year gives a very accurate timing for an event of the nature of the planet.? (2) Quote: ?In general, Sun-Moon aspects in a Solar Return represent crisis, significant turning points?Full Moon signals some sort of culmination and with it a stage of maximum extension in some area for the time being. Rudhyar comments, ?In any case, some kind of concrete limits have been reached.??a fitting climax is slated to occur naturally now. This too, is an aspect that calls for a reorientation of some sort.? It is likely that there are other indicators of a risky year on 1974 year at this example. The idea was just to show that for this case, the techniques proposed by Jim Eshelman?s , from my point of view made sense. Sebastian [/url] Quote Sun Jul 25, 2010 8:08 pm
Reply to Sabastian 100 by Steve Hi Sebastian, Another example of the symbolism offered by solar moon. Could you post her birth time with birth location coordinates, if not the same as solar return coordinates? Thanks for posting this example. 101 by Sebastian Steve, The place of the accident is the same as the one she was born. The details are on the up-left part of the chart (outer wheel - natal chart). November 4th, 1972 - 7:15 AM - 34?S 53? // 056?W 11? I note that Mars the lord of the 6th house in in detriment on Libra on the natal chart. I really do not understand how much malefic could be Saturn (7 house GEM) in trine aspects to Uranus, Mars and the Moon, from the place it was. On the morning of September 19th 1974, transiting Mars, conjunct Natal Saturn. The Quotidian chart for September 30th, 1974, shows Saturn in partile conjunction to the IC.- I do not know the exact date of the event. Only I know that it was between September 15th-30th. Anyway the purpose of the case was to show the 1974-75 SR signals. Regards, Sebastian Quote Mon Jul 26, 2010 1:32 am
102 by BiBi_Anderson Hi Sebastian, in Western Sidereal/Precesse precessed correction, house rulership has very little if anything to do with the way astrology works, that's more effective when left in the realm of Horary. Quote Mon Jul 26, 2010 2:03 am
103 by Sebastian Hi Bibi, I understand what you are saying, but I was refering to the natal chart that is tropical. There you are going to find the cusp of the 6th house on 23ARI04, and then mars on 22LIB05. I hope not be missing something. Please let me know in case I misunderstood something. Reply to Sabastin 104 by Steve Hi Sebastian & BiBi, There are ?health? indicators with the two lights in the 6th House, with Natal Moon conjunct Natal Mars & Uranus. Mars-Uranus symbolism is notorious for operations and accidents but does not mean an operation or accident will occur for everyone with Mars/Uranus configurations. With the 6th House symbolism pertaining to health, in this Natal, we would have to allow for a greater probability the Native, at some point in her life would experience something to do with operations or accidents. Since we already know she was born with a heart defect, the Moon-Saturn conjunction in this Solar Return is a strong signal her health is in jeopardy for this time frame as Jim teaches with Solar Moon?s being aspected with malefics. Combine this with her Natal Moon being conjoined with Mars-Uranus then we see the health warning with the Solar Return. Ebertin says pertaining to partial Mars-Uranus symbolism: ?Principle: A sudden application of effort, an intervention in the body (an operation).? ?Probable Manifestations (under the negative manifestations with malefics): A struggle for survival, an accident, an injury, operation.? I think I have a couple of accident incidents in my files. I will give them a look. 105 by BiBi_Anderson I have Mars/Uranus(natal) partile setting 6 degrees both in Mundo and the zodiac, I've had my share of health problems including a few surgeries, with a huge scar to prove it! I really do not understand how much malefic could be Saturn (7 house GEM) in trine aspects to Uranus, Mars and the Moon, from the place it was. What you don't understand is in Western Sidereal Astrology, the planets never loose their innate character, Saturn will always be the malefic, Jupiter will always be the benific ect. Trines and soft aspects really seem to be the most productive in secondary progressions, hard aspects seem to create the most effective outcome for good or bad and that includes the conjunction Squares and other aspects except Conjunction to the main angles are just illusions. Anyway, this year I had a partile 90 180 of the solar moon between the Uranus/Saturn opposition, nothing that drastic happened physically, but mentally, I was a wreck, very depressed, very down, agitated, panic attacks! Jack Tatum 106 by Steve Jack Tatum, legendary known in the football arena as a fierce NFL Linebacker, died today July 27th 2010?RIP. From other astrological sites there is an AA rated birth time: Dec. 18th 1948, 7:00 PM, Cherryville, North Carolina. 35N22:43 081W22:45. After Tatum retired from football, he struggled with Diabetes and in 2003 had five toes amputated from his left foot and part of his right leg amputated. Above is his 2002 Precessed Solar Return, relocated to his residence in Oakland, California. This Solar Return covers most of the calendar year 2003. Note the angular conjunction of Solar Moon with Solar Saturn and the full moon opposition of Solar Moon with Solar Sun. Also note the tight 45?s and 135?s with Solar Mar?s-Solar Neptune to the Solar Moon-Solar Saturn conjunction. 107 by Atlantean Hello Steve, Really great thread! If we use the non-relocated precessed Solar Return (for Tatum), it looks very indicative of the year. (12/2002->12/2003) (Solar Return in center to preserve Return Houses for these comments...) The SR Saturn-SR Moon-N Uranus opposition to the Sun, with SR Saturn (loss of organs) right on the opposition to Topocentric 8th, surgery, stands out. The same SR Saturn-SR Moon-N Uranus is closely in sesquisquare to the SR Venus-Mars conjunction in 6th. Jupiter is squaring Venus (symbolic for diabetes) with Venus in and ruling the 6th. SR Moon is right on N Uranus (r. N 8th). Neptune sits on the Midheaven. SR Mercury right on the 9th puts him back in the news. For what? SR Mercury sits right on his natal Mars-Asc opposition (surgery). Take care, Steve and keep up the great work! Atlantean Quote Wed Jul 28, 2010 8:52 pm
Reply to Atlantean 108 by Steve Thanks Atlantean, I feel the very few Western Siderealists (with their brilliant techniques) of the 50?s, 60?s, & 70?s were not duly recognized by mainstream astrologers for two main reasons: 1: The Sidereal Zodiac vs. the Tropical Zodiac controversy. But actually, the techniques of Western Siderealists can be practiced in the Tropical Zodiac without losing their astrological core validity. 2: The astrological techniques of Cyril Fagan, practiced by the Western Siderealists, require an extreme amount of technical astronomy/math. Very few astrologers could cope with these technical issues. Now every astrologer has software that can handle these technical/math issues with a proper keystroke. The Western Siderealists are dying off. I am getting old and am endeavoring to build a bridge for the new generation of astrologers for better understanding with Fagan?s work-- where they can pass on to other future astrologers the same understanding and astrological merit of Fagan?s life work. I have gleamed astrological merit with your posts and want to learn more pertaining to your astrological work. It appears to me you have specialized in Marr?s astrological techniques; whereas, I have specialized in Fagan?s astrological techniques. I am now retired and have lots of time which allows me the time to devote to this thread. If you ever find yourself with lots of time, I would like to see you start a teaching thread (under Nativities & General Astrology) pertaining to your astrological work and experiences with Marr?s work. I feel this would help astrologers better understand your astrological work.
