Which house, sign and planet rules fashion career? 1 by honeybee Hi, May I ask which house and planet rules fashion design? is it 5th house(creativity)? Pisces? Jupiter? In one of my previous chart related to business venture here, a reader who has helped me asked me what is my main concern when the question is asked. For an example, it makes me wonder Is there a difference between when the question is constructed in a career in fashion design and a career in the fashion industry? 3 by kurgal If the querent is asking about a CAREER in fashion design I would look at the 10th House and significator of 10th. The 5th House would be relevant to the person's skills, talents and abilities in fashion design, I think. 4 by kerenhappuch You also need to look at the 9th house, which shows the knowledge on which the career is based. I think the 5th wouldn't be very important in this question as it's about a career, not fashion for fun. 5 by Ben Hi, It is true that the 10th is the standard house signifying professional skills (although in medieval/traditional, you look for planets hovering around any of the 4 angles). But the 5th does rule clothing and ornamentation -- as does Venus. It could be relevant, say, if Venus were in or near the 10th (or 1st), and were also the ruler of the 5th. It would also be relevant if the ruler of the 10th were in the 5th, especially if it were Venus. Or the ruler of the 10th conjunct/aspecting the ruler of the 5th, again especially if one of them were Venus.
