Horary Confusing Romance Question... 1 by LittleMermaid Hi , I know it might seem a bit funny - but again I have a similar question - this time about a different guy obviously... I have cast a horary chart for my question: "Does he like me and will something more than friendship come out of this?" 31.7.2005 at 21:23 local time (universal time 18:23), 34e46, 32n04 The ascendant is in 15 degrees of Pisces 7' 8'', Jupiter (my significator) is again in the 7th house in Libra (although the 7th house beginns in Virgo) Him - Mercury retrograde is in the 6th house in Leo, Sun is in the 5th house in Leo Vertex is in the 7th house (something fatal?) in Virgo. What I find interesting is that Moon (me) is conjunct IC of the chart in Gemini (does it have any meaning?). Mercury - his significator also rules Gemini... So far it looks as if there is something going on... My question is if the aspects of our significators also show some possible 'development of the events' in the future? Unfortunatelly - I am not so skilled in interpreting the aspects of the significators in the near future - so therefore I will appreciate anyone who could have a look to interpret it...I might be wrong...My guess is that there is something going on...but I am not sure about the outcome... Also - I am a bit confused about the Mercury retrograde - how it works and how should I interpret it...(if it also suggest that the relationship will be interrupted or it does not):-? Thank you in advance, LittleMermaid . Quote Sun Jul 31, 2005 6:52 pm
Does he like me question 2 by voyagergirl Mermaid, Taking into consideration ONLY the Mercury RX, I would hesitate to predict a long-term relationship, even though Mercury is in a fixed sign. What I've found is that when Mercury is retrograde in the chart, what starts out looking like a good idea, turns out to be not-so-good. It may mean you'll change your mind about him, he about you, or there's something about him, that once you find out, will put you off. Also, his significator retrograde may mean he's returning to an old relationship. Quote Mon Aug 01, 2005 6:34 pm
Another thing 3 by voyagergirl Well, this might be a good time to test out using the 5th house to signify him as a potential love interest -- that is, unless you're really asking if you'll marry him... Without looking at the chart, I'm wondering if Cancer rules the 5th. If so, he's ruled by the Moon. If the Moon is in Gemini, it's disposed of by that retrograde Mercury. On the other hand, if it's in Cancer, depending on the degree, it will square Jupiter, your significator, which can mean trouble and delays, though it's not fatal. Still, that retrograde Mercury is the key, I think. It affects the whole chart. Quote Mon Aug 01, 2005 7:05 pm
4 by amandaW Hi I am interested in the reading of this chart and what the outcome is as I recently did one that was the other way round. ie. retrograde mercury ruled me and jupiter the other person. I haven't spent too much time looking at it - I took one look at neptune opposite my ruler and decided I would have trouble with the chart. So thsi has made me look at it again (yeah mercury retrograde making me go back over stuff!!) I also had planets on the MC/IC axis ( they incidentally tied with synastry links in out charts and composite and I though that they were probably telling me something about the nature of the potential relationship- so maybe the moon in your chart is doing the something similar ) In my case, I took my retrograde mercury to be saying that I was not able to act or do anything constructive about the situation at present- but that the sextile with jupiter looked favourable. Also interesting is the fact that mercury will sextile jupiter when it is retrograde then again when it goes direct ( although after both planets aspect the sun)- so could be more developments later Quote Tue Aug 02, 2005 11:39 am
