This is a very specific prediction based on many family charts. I can't speak for 'death of father' or 'death of husband,' but such a momentous event as the death of a president in office and the elevation of the vice president to that high office should be clearly shown by the more prosaic methods astrologers use.

It has been my habit (when I have time) to check the more common charts for the planets that Linchi has isolated with his methods for events and illnesses. Due to my age, mostly I am able to check only solar returns and enneads for events. So I have looked at the 2022 solar return charts for Kamala Harris and Joe Biden. Because I’ve been studying India’s astrology for many years, I have never worked with midpoints, planetary pictures or TNPs.

It is difficult to envision a more significant and life changing solar return than Kamala Harris’ solar return for 2022. In this case the 16th harmonic which Linchi illustrated is an embellishment of the basic solar return, but necessary if we want to see to-the-second accuracy. Fortunately or unfortunately the Neptunian minds of astrologers aren’t equipped for that kind of accuracy. We have to work within our capacities and often see a perhaps somewhat blurry picture using only planetary degrees we can recognize from the ephemeris.

In Kamala Harris’ 2022 solar return below the natal chart is on the inner wheel and the solar return ascendant and planets are the outer wheel. As always with my Solar Fire charts, the house lines represent the centers of 30 degree houses and not their beginnings. The ascendant degree is repeated in all signs around the chart as the most significant areas for the location of planets. According to Fagan school astrologers, planets on angles take priority for the year. I leave a three degree orb for planets conjunct cusps as key planets for the year.



Linchi has given this pattern in the 16th harmonic, but these planets are also clearly seen in the solar return chart itself: Sun/Jupiter=Saturn=Kronos (=radix Jupiter/Kronos)

The solar return ascendant degree falls on the natal Sun-Moon opposition which is activated by transiting Venus in its domicile. Transiting Pluto is at the nonagesimal in 90 degree aspect to the 1st-7th house cuspal planets. Natal Saturn (with the MC) is on the 11th SR cusp (in trine to natal and transiting Sun). Transiting Jupiter is on cusp 12, natal Jupiter on cusp 2.

If we want to use Kronos, it is on the SR IC (IC 22 Gemini, Kronos 21 Gemini). Due to Linchi’s posts here, I had purchased the Michelson TNP ephemeris.

Transiting Mars is activating natal ascendant and Rahu on cusp3. Transiting Moon is activating natal Ur/Pl/Ve, but this is not on a SR cusp. In short, Kamla Harris’ entire natal chart is activated for this solar year.

In the solar return charts I've looked at for death, the solar 4th house is always emphasized, one meaning which apparently is the end of life. The only strongly angular planet in Joe Biden's 2022 solar return is Moon at the nadir receiving the trine aspects of Mars from the 12th and Saturn from the 8th. This matches Linchi’s Solar Ma/Sa = Solar MO. Morin calls the 4th house the cave of old age, and relates the 4th-8th-12th trigon of houses to death. However, this trine of SR planets don’t contact Biden’s natal planets. But Biden’s SR Moon at the nadir does conjoin Jill Biden’s Neptune in Virgo (23Vi50 R).

Transiting Mercury, natal 8th lord and SR ascendant lord (natal 8th sign being the SR ascendant) conjoins natal ascendant in the SR 6th house. Transiting Venus in SR Mercury’s degree also conjoins the natal ascendant. Venus is the 7th natal house lord, the 7th in Jyotish said to be a house of death for the individual.

Transiting Jupiter is at the SR MC and trines the degree of natal Sun, but these are not on a SR cusp. Natal Jupiter is in the SR 1st house. Astrologers have noted Jupiter’s prominence in death charts. Biden's religious beliefs assure him of a happy release from earth to realms of light if this is indeed the year of his exit from the presidency. Jupiter is also the natal 2nd house lord, the 2nd house according to Jyotish is a death house for a person (being the 8th from the 7th).

At any rate, there is only one strong angular configuration in Biden’s 2022 solar return: the Moon at the nadir receiving the aspects of Mars from 12th and Saturn from 8th. Also SR Neptune is quincunx (8th house aspect) this angular Moon. SR Neptune also conjoins the natal IC.

It’s interesting also that SR Ketu conjoins natal Mars, ascendant lord which in turn throws it’s full 8th house aspect to natal Saturn in the 7th. So there are multiple suggestions of possible death in Biden’s 2022 SR that an astute astrologer might notice.

The significant 16th harmonic planets are highlighted in different ways in the solar return and natal charts as I read them. Astrology is so complex that there will always be multiple ways of seeing significant planetary patterns: natal and transiting planets, harmonics, progressions, etc. The trick is to correctly interpret these patterns.

I just wanted to show from a Vedic point of view whether the date November 2022-November 2023 is dangerous for Biden or not.

Interesting is that from September 2022 for biden saturn maha dasa begins. Saturn is maraka because as sub-lord of 2nd house as well as standing in 7th house.
Saturn`s antar dasa period lasts until September 2025.



In my opinion, the most dangerous period is when Mercury is the Pratyantar dasa lord. Because firstly mercury is 8th house lord, secondly he is in the 12th house and of all things he is with mars who is 6th house lord. And these three planets connected with each other by jaimini aspect. Mercury pratyantar dasa lasts from 22 february 2023 to 30 july 2023.

Yes, Biden's Saturn periods (Maha and Antara [Bhukti]) are no doubt dangerous for his life for the reasons you gave. For support in Biden's 2022 solar return Saturn is on the 8th cusp aspecting the Moon on cusp 4.

I agree that Mercury's Pratyantar [Antara--Indians can't even agree on basic terms for dasa periods] period should be the most dangerous period. And in Biden's 2022 solar return Mercury conjoins natal ascendant in the 6th house. I can check the enneads for Mercury's period. Of course it's interesting for research that all these methods work together and support each other beginning with the planetary pictures in the first message of this thread.

Think what could be accomplished if astrologers cooperated with each other using various methods for research! We would soon see which methods don't work consistently and which methods need further research.

I think it's a good exercise, Therese. If you can post Enneads for Mercury's period, it would be good. On the other hand, we can continue to try to reduce the time frames. If we should also make mistakes, it would not be so important, as long as we can learn from the failures.

The ennead can be broken down into four periods, ten day charts. Except for checking the transits of the faster moving planets, I don't know how to narrow the time frame more than that. (Except that we do have lunar periods which I haven't researched.) But at the moment I have to finish an article that's due soon, so I'll have to return to this topic a little later. I'm sorry that my mental energy doesn't allow me to work on two astrological tasks at the same time.

Therese, thank you for showing your techniques even though you are working on an article. This subject is not urgent anyway. We have the time.

I would like to proceed slowly and show, in my opinion, how to narrow the time frame up to the day.


If we look below at the birthdays and applicable solars, we can say that the first time frame we can use is between 4 February and 8 June 2023, because Ashley Biden`s solar applies until 8 June 2023 and Hunter Biden`s solar starting on 4.February 2023. This period also matches the Vimsottari dasa planet Mercury because Mercury`s Pratyantar-Dasa Period is between 22 February and 30 July 2023.

Secondly, we can first study tertiary progressed lunar phases because for 5 months period there are two tertiary progressed lunar phases. And then we examine the related 3 lunars.
