Martin, I have just started to read this paper and am finding it very interesting. (I quickly scanned through to the end, but have to go back and read more carefully.) It's good that a pre-publication version is available for easier reading (double spaced) and printing. Scholarly references in the paper are massive to support the author's research. This is a highly recommended paper which describes the tropical/sidereal situation in Europe during the Middle Ages--not so clearly defined as previously believed.

You have published this link on the sidereal forum as well, but I think here on the Traditional forum is the best place to generate discussion as both tropical and sidereal astrologers are active here.
