Global Events & Planet Stations 1 by Greg Young After studying the charts of planetary stations for the last few years and getting mind bogglingly good results from the charts and transits, progressions (prog moon mainly)I thought it might be a good idea to share the idea out and hopefully get some feedback on its merits. Instead of starting with 9/11 or the Titanic disaster I'll go with something newsworthy and of the moment. Here is a Jupiter Station chart set for Tehran, Iran, with Jupiter ruling Liberty, Democracy, Law, Freedom, Injustice primarily so with the current news on the media it might be a pertinent chart to look at today. Firstly this is a strong Jupiter station chart due to it being on a New Moon strongly aspecting Jupiter by trine. The noteworthy Mars-Uranus-Node of a few months ago is on the ascendant waiting to be triggered off; Uranus is exactly conjunct the ASC so rebellion is in the air. On September 16th, 2022 a 22-year-old Mahsa Amini died after being detained by police, she had no prior health problems, and activists asserted that she may have been beaten by the police. An ongoing series of protests and civil unrest against the government of Iran began in Tehran as a reaction to the death. So straight away we've got the New Moon, its position on the feminine IC/4H and exactly opposite the Iranian Regime (MC). NM is trine Jupiter (freedom/liberty). Moreover when the uprising of mainly women and girls actually begins, the progressed Moon (women) is within a few seconds of perfection to Jupiter in 11th house of hopes and aspiration. I'll look at further aspects up to the present day tomorrow. key tester keyboard Quote Mon Oct 10, 2022 2:28 pm
by Greg Young JUP Station chart - Beginning of Iran Protests 16th Sept transits. Uranus Conjunction Uranus +0°05’ Uranus Square Mercury -0°08’ Saturn Square Uranus -1°03’ Node Conjunction Uranus 0°09’ Sun Opposition Neptune -2°02’ Sun Quincunx Saturn -0°01’ There are two important features:- 1) The Progressed Moon has moved from 1.43' degrees from Jupiter Station to just 0.05 seconds from perfection when the protests begin in Iran. 2) Is the closeness of degrees (just a few secs!) involving Uranus from its tight natal conjunction to N.Node (0.2)* Both give warning that something could be about to happen with a Uranian vibe as Uranus is so closely involved with Mer, Nodes, Saturn and conjunct the AS. And along with Jupiter it is also strong through being stationary. Jupiter and Uranus are the planets of Liberation and Revolution however at this moment Uranus is hampered by it's 'fixed' square to Saturn (repression/traditions/outdated values). What are the signs for the future? *it's the tightness of orb not simply the aspects making these charts stand out as special IMO Quote Tue Oct 11, 2022 2:03 pm
by Greg Young In contrast to the above is the date when the 'Edict on wearing hijabs' is handed down by the mullahs which subsequently caused the arrest of the young woman, Mahsa Amini. On this day, Aug 15 we see a predominance of Mars transits and an opposition of the Sun to Saturn. So a very different story to the feisty Uranian rebelliousness of the protests. Mars Trine Pluto -0°17’ Mercury Trine Mars +0°32’ Sun Opposition Saturn -0°55’ Venus Conjunction Sun+1°45’ Venus is the ruler of the station chart (taurus asc) so its all about 'values' and in this case clothing or wearing the 'hijab' correctly. So Jupiter in Aries is seen as 'Fighting for Rights or Beliefs' and this is a good positive example of this. In his own way Putin could also be said to be 'Fighting for his Beliefs' in a more negative sense. Jupiter is far from weak in this station chart and in Aries can be quite troublesome as we're all finding out. Quote Wed Oct 12, 2022 2:16 pm
by Mark Hi Greg, A warm welcome to Skyscript, and the mundane forum in particular! Its always refreshing to see a new and intriguing approach to examining mundane charts. I have always felt that stationary planets were like a massive exclamation mark in the chart. By some kind of synchronicity I have recently been reading the book ''The Test of Time: Exploring Stationary Planets '' by the Australian astrologer , Michele Finey. Your application of this to mundane charts is a very interesting area of research. I look forward to seeing more posts by you here. 5 by Greg Young Thanks, Mark. Yes, I watched a youtube by Michele Finey on stationary planets but it seemed more about the actual movement and its general effects rather than looking at the charts themselves. I also recall an astrologer called AstrologyKing sometimes posting the occasional station chart but other than that it's not at all commonplace to my knowledge. Quote Thu Oct 13, 2022 12:52 pm
by Ouranos Outer planets always move westward when in opposition to the Sun. Symbolically, it is a time to move away from our self (East - Rising sign) to consider other viewpoints (West - 7th House). We put the emphasis on the opposition to the Sun. Heliocentrically, the Earth is always opposite to the Sun and during an opposition... the Earth is conjunct the planet in opposition to the Sun. As we approach the Sun/Mars opposition since Mars is currently stationing, it might be good to remember some thoughts of Rudhyar on Mars retrograde. "When Mars initially goes retrograde, some kind of brakes or self-induced obstacles to its usual outward-directed activity tend to appear. Spontaneity often becomes prey to inner conflicts or self-doubt. Mars may, so to speak, timidly check back with Venus: "Are you sure this is what you really want?" Or it may double-check with Jupiter or Saturn: "Are you sure this is permissible and really OK?" Astrological aspects, p. 160 Rudhyar, Rael Mars needs to go the body-shop for repair. Blessings! 7 by Greg Young Jupiter Station & Queen Elizabeth's death In this example I'm using the same chart as the Iranian Protests but now set for Balmoral at the time of Queen Elizabeths death. The ascendant shows what is happening and sets the scene so not surprisingly Saturn is on the ascendant. I would prefer it to be exact but 3 degrees away is fine and we can't be that sure of the time anyway. We can see the same contradictions as in the Iran chart now emerging, which had Sun/Moon trine Jupiter showing the urge for liberation but also a strong Saturn & Mars influence hindering this enthusiasm. Also there is an exact anti parallel of Mars/Saturn casting a darkness over both charts. Yes the Queen was dead (Saturn) but a new King was about to be celebrated with replete pomp & majesty (Jupiter). Jupiter is at its most powerful at this time, as it stations many astrologers suggest it's as much as 4 times stronger although I've never fully understood how they measure this to a number - why not three times stronger? In this example I'm using the same chart as the Iranian Protests but now set for Balmoral at the time of Queen Elizabeths death. The ascendant shows what is happening and sets the scene so not surprisingly Saturn is on the ascendant. I would prefer it to be exact but 3 degrees away is fine and we can't be that sure of the time anyway. We can see the same contradictions as in the Iran chart now emerging, which had Sun/Moon trine Jupiter showing the urge for liberation but with the hindrance also of a difficult, traditional Saturn/Mars influence in an exact contra-parallel of Mars/Saturn casting a cloud over both charts. So yes, the world is mourning and the Queen was dead (Saturn) but a new King was about to be celebrated with replete pomp & majesty (Jupiter). For the most part astrologers agree that a planet (& even asteroid) is more powerful when at its at or around its 'station' so with both Mars and Saturn ready to station soon it is yet another cause for concern. Another reason to take note of the chart is that it's a New Moon chart therefore a ''new beginning'' & certainly true in the case of our wizened future King Charles III and hopefully it's also the dawn of a new age for the long suffering women of Iran. Unfortunately one reason to keep an eye on this Jupiter station chart of a few months ago is that the parans of the two malefics, Mars and Saturn are at precisely 0'0' exaction. At this time then (at QE's death), Jupiter is not only strong in Aries, it is 'super-strong' as the progressed Moon is now very close to exaction in its trine to Jupiter on the Queen's death at Balmoral (it 'perfects' on her funeral and burial!). Just want to add 3 points - The well known Neptune-Pluto sextile makes a 'Yod' to the 'setting sun point' of the chart or descendant which seems a significant apex in the circumstances (Queen dying). Also parans of Moon/Pluto suggesting 'deep emotional reaction'. Finally that the important 'progressed moon' finally completes its trine to Jupiter at 8.43' in 'royal' Leo ofcourse in exact lockstep with the Queen's funeral and subsequent burial. An emotional linking between watching public (moon) & Royal Family (jupiter)?? With Sun/Moon and Mercury in 6th house of illness you can also see the malefics at work in the fixed t-square below - Last edited by Greg Young on Wed Oct 19, 2022 12:54 pm, edited 1 time in total. Thanks, Ouranus, all contributions (even criticisms) are most welcome and actually by sheer fortune Rudhyar was my earliest subject matter on astrology when I started at 13/14 yrs old (I bought them from an old 'american comic' (Superman, Hulk, Sinister Tales etc) shop which dealt mainly in odd US Imports. Very interesting about Mars! Quote Wed Oct 19, 2022 1:03 pm
by Greg Young Seoul Pluto station set for the actual transits at the time of the disaster in Seoul where over 150 people died after being caught up in a crowd crush in a small alley during halloween festivities. Seoul crowd crush & Pluto Station chart (Retro; 30/4/22) So these are the bare bones of how it works. First which planet station does the 'event' fall under. In this case it is Pluto = crowds/mass of people. And in the Pluto station chart you can clearly see the transits of the event (Seoul Disaster) show a tight T-square on the Pluto ST angles. 1) Mars opp MC sq Neptune mutable T-square. This combination is described as Being more aware of the unconscious compulsions and inner motivations will help you to take charge of your life. It is sometimes easier just to let things happen but by tuning in to what motivates or drives you, it should be possible to turn these dreams into reality. TRY TO TAKE CHARGE OF LIFE & STOP BEING LED BY OTHERS simply to GO WITH THE FLOW. 2) Progressed Moon on 2H cusp ('breathing/suffocation). Pluto Octile Mars-0°08’ Pluto Sextile Venus+0°29’ Pluto Square Moon+0°46’ Jupiter Octile Uranus-0°24’ Jupiter Sextile Mercury-0°01’ Mars Square Neptune +1°04 Mars Trine Saturn+1°24 Mars Square Jupiter-2°07’ Mars Square Venus-1°05’ Mars Square Vertex-0°00’ - exact! Mars Opposition MC-1°24’» Mercury Square Pluto-0°58’ Mercury Quincunx Mercury-0°17 Mercury Opposition Moon-2°33’ Mars and Pluto are v.strong in this chart..a lot of tight aspects. Problem aspects shown in red. ------------------------------------------------------------ here is another example of poor crowd control, this time in Indonesia leaving 135 dead. Indonesian police firing tear gas was the main trigger for a deadly soccer stampede at a stadium in East Java last month, the country's human rights commission found in a report on the incident released on Wednesday. Officials from the human rights commission (Komnas HAM) said 135 people had died, mostly from asphyxiation, in the stampede after the match at Kanjuruhan stadium in Malang regency on Oct. 1. So I think we can say with some confidence that mass public crowd crushes are to the fore this autumn 2022 period and as PLUTO rules mass crowding the station chart is where to look and investigate and then hopefully warn of significant red letter periods. Here is the Pluto Station for Seoul, S.Korea. Quote Fri Nov 04, 2022 2:19 pm
by daz madrigal STATIONARY CHART – UKRAINE INVASION Transits Mars transit conj Pluto 0.2 Pluto transit conj Saturn 0.3 Neptune trine Sun 0.1 Neptune square Nodes 0.4 Apart from the elements of delusional leadership drawn from the #Nep influence its clear to see that as soon as the necessary 'difficult' planets move closer and closer together (#Mar,#Sat#Plu) the tension breaks into actual martian action. #Mar t conj Pluto= Capricorn 23: Two awards for bravery in war Even the ASC and MC exactly square to the invasion ASC. STATIONS the stations of the planets afford us an opportunity to study and observe a specific principle of energy (a planet or asteroid) and how it may manifest in a specific sign. That is because the planet having the station spends far more time in the sign wherein the station occurs than it would if it were merrily moving along at normal speed. This manifestation is clearest and most intense in the two or three weeks before and after the station. And, I might add, the very degree where the station occurs is sensitized in the nature of the planet that had the station, and that sensitivity will persist for many months. Aspects made by the other planets to that sensitive degree will stimulate the action and show a further development with regard to the issues that were in consciousness in the world at the times of the stations. - Eleanor Bach [/quote] I wouldn't be surprised if other station charts work quite well. Probably Pluto and Saturn stations are worth a look. My feeling is that it will fizzle out mid-2023 - any other views on this stupid war. I have only looked at the Aries Ingress and 2023 Year chart but it appears a gentler year. esp without Saturn/Uranus square.
