I am very thankful for the ???Intruduction to Decumbiture??? by Dylan Warren-Davis. It is a enrichment to the books I red (Oscar Hofman, Nicholas Culpeper, Richard Saunders) and made many things clearer.

In part 10 there are many aphorisms by Nicholas Culpeper. Some of them concern the lord of the 8th house. I wonder how to read the moon as Lady of the 8th in the (last third of the) 1st house (and void of course—Edit Feb. 21th 2023: according to William Lilly she is not void of course but translating light from Saturn to Jupiter). All rules for her e.g. to aspect the Lord of the 8th do not seem to be applicable.

How to deal with this?

Moon L8 in the 1st...
Keeping souvenirs of ancestors (dead family members)
Restoring old objects (More to be said by knowing the Moon sign)
Dressing up with vintage clothings.

The 1st being the 6th from the 8th...
Planning details of death.
Playing a role of service to a funeral.
Changing one's diet and looking after ancient therapies.

Last third of the last of the 1st = End of life.

I am inspired by 'La Technique des Maisons Dérivées' from Charles Caruana and what my brain makes up with keywords. I am very much 'visual' when I think of astrological symbolisms. I like to create scenarios.

In your example, Moon ruling the 8th in the 1st.
Everything stemming from the 8th House will show up to the world (ASC).

Unfortunately I cannot read French and this book was not translated as far as I can see.
