Some time ago I saw a text by Deborah Houlding—I think somewhere on this website—describing how to calculate the MC when the AC and the coordinates of the place are known. I cannot find it anymore. Can somebody help?

I don't think it was a text on this site - you probably saw my reference to this in the presentation I gave about the use of quadrant houses in ancient astrology.

The technique was used by ancient astrologers by reference to rising times and is demonstrated in the works of Valens. I hope to have my annotated edition of his book I availabe soon, and that will walk you through the procedure. But for now, I don't have anything in text form to refer to you.

Am I right that there will be a commented edition published as a book?
