it is in the news recently and the news lines up with some interesting astrology which i am going to articulate.. saturn is rising in a nocturnal chart, with the ruler of the scorpio ascendant - mars - in the last degree of aries, in the 6th house, very close to a conjunction with ketu, or south node.. the ruler of the 10th house - sun, is in aquarius, while the ruler of the 2nd house, jupiter is also in poor shape in the sign virgo - in the 10th house, but 11th sign..

if you do the positions of the planets from the moon - jupiter is in the 6th of the moons houses, while saturn is in the 8th.. as it happens the chart has a close moon opposition neptune and this part of the chart is being highlighted at present thanks the rka - rahu-ketu or nodal axis.. thus, the eclipse cycle is hitting the chart directly at this time in 2023.. to add to the challenges, presently saturn transit is sitting directly on natal venus/mercury conjunction, further crimping and challenging the astro dynamics to the chart we have for ghana...

i suppose it is no surprise that the focus on ghana with regard to imf, or chinese loans would take center stage here.. see moa article for a greater overview on this..

the transit of mars - ruler of the ascendant, transiting the 8th house here probably doesn't help either... wanting to restructure your loans, or borrowing abilities with mars transiting the 8th doesn't sound easy... maybe others read mars transiting the 8th differently.. i would be happy to receive feedback on this.. see the chart below for the transits at present to the chart for ghana..



a solar return for 2023 -which takes effect this coming may 6-7 th 2023 area has libra ascendant - which lands in the 12th house of the natal chart... mars is in the 8th house of the sr chart, while moon - ruler of the 10th sr house, is in the 10th area - 11th sign to the ascendant.. sr mars squares onto the sun in what is mostly a western hemisphere chart, reliant on the support of others here.. when one does a biwheel with the natal chart and the solar return for 2023, it looks like the chart i have posted immediately below..



one other thing that sticks out looking at the biwheel here - the solar return for 2023 is close to a full moon.. the full moon happens to line up fairly close to the midheaven axis... sun and moon rule the 9th and 10th houses of the natal chart.. this is a raja yoga and considered favourable.. i am not sure if it is somewhat disqualified by having sun in aquarius - sign of the suns fall.. the ascendant in the solar return lands fairly close to the rka -rahu-ketu axis... that doesn't sound favourable..

i find it all quite interesting in the broader framework of what is happening around the planet and what we are, or aren't hearing about in world news...
