Venus themes everywhere right now

1
There has been a strong theme in the Skyscript newsletter about how dominant Venus is this summer, and the effect it is having on women's issues and all sorts of Venus-related concerns. The next issue of the newsletter will be full of this too, as the Venus-Jupiter square predominates in mundane affairs.

With that in mind, I found it interesting that news has just been released surgeons have performed the UK’s first womb transplant in a procedure they hope will pave the way for women born without a uterus to give birth - the breakthrough could involve transgender women also benefiting from the operation, paving the way for them to get pregnant in future.

The world's first Womb transplant occured in Sweden in early October, 2014. I don't know the exact time or date but the news was reported on 5th October. Jupiter was then at 16° Leo, so there is a reconnection from the current planetary vibe, which has Venus at 15 Leo squaring Jupiter at 16 Taurus.

I've certainly noticed the Venus-Lilith theme (shame;taboo;betrayal etc) with these recent stories in the UK such as Lucy Letby, Mason Greenwood, Alex Tate, Huw Edwards...the list seems endless, all hanging their heads in shame (or not, as the case may be). You're example is far more wholesome and a pleasant contrast.

I wonder if its the same the world over though or just the UK?

Jumping in to piggyback off the initial post by Deb.

A Wikipedia page ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uterus_transplantation ) gives "notable cases" in the history of this specific procedure.

If you check it out, you'll see that Germany and Saudi Arabia lead the list of nations where this procedure was attempted (and failed) early on. The first place to succeed with the procedure was Turkey - on 9 August 2011 - a day when Venus applied superior conjunction to the Sun; both in Leo, just as they separated from a square with Jupiter, which, at the time, was in Taurus.

Here's the noon chart:

Wow - great follow up Jason. it is pretty impressive the way it congregates around Venus and 15 Leo and brings that tie in with Jupiter.
Definitely there is a global effect going on Greg. As I mentioned, there is a lot of discussion about this in the current newsletter (about to be released) and Jason brought attention to it back in June as a theme that would play out through the summer. There are lots of examples in other mundane issues there (but I'm still putting the copy together!)
One point Jason mentioned in the newsletter is to note the concurrence on 4th September, when Venus stations direct at 12°Leo on the same day Jupiter stations retrograde at 15°Taurus. The square between them is very significant and both planets are entering bright phases.

Very interesting Deb. I must get that Newsletter.

India's recent success with the Moon landing with Chandrayan-3 seems to
fit in with the Venusian Jupiter theme mentioned.

In India's national chart there is a natal venus jupiter square.
That is mirrored by the transit of venus jupiter in the sky now.

India have a LIbra profection.
Solar arc ascendant is on venus on natal IC
A transiting Venus return on natal venus IC

Stefan - Thanks for sharing this. I appreciate your use of the Indian independence chart.

It's very interesting how Venus in the independence chart is conjunct Saturn, ruler of the 9th long journeys, distant places, and exploration and 10th national honors, prestige houses. And since the country is in a Venus profection year, it's important to consider what is happening with Venus in the radical chart, right? So, seeing as Venus is conjunct Saturn radically, Saturn's transits could also be noteworthy.

The transit of Saturn in Pisces (while benefic Venus rules the profection year) through the 10th-house of honors while carrying radical significations related to 9th-house exploration, seems to mark this occasion- and how appropriate is it that the landing took place on the "dark" (Saturn) side of the Moon! It's also interesting that, in Pisces, Saturn has as its dispositors both Venus (by exaltation) and Jupiter (through domicile)!

The Jupiter opposite natal Jupiter transit coinciding with the Venus return in a Venus profection year while both are tied to Saturn radically (and through dispositorship in its transit), sure seems to have brought an interesting mix of the benefics (promoting growth) coupled with malefic Saturn (in inhospitable, extreme places).

That the Sun (universal signifier of honors) is involved in all of the interplay radically and by transit opposes transiting Saturn, is also a little "cherry on top" of this astrological inquiry, if you ask me. To get technical, Venus in the independence chart moves from Saturn to the Sun - Venus is combust and recently in contact with a malefic - this doesn't look so great "in theory" - but, as we all know, actual life is much more complex. I like that in this instance Venus seems to rise above or bring out the best in some of the potential challenges indicated in the radical chart.

I also read a report from the BBC that the rover that was sent is named Pragyaan (the Sanskrit word for wisdom). Make of that what you will.

Cool stuff. Again, thanks for sharing!

Thanks for elaborating Jason....

What you say makes a lot of sense.

And I checked the distributions as well....and no surprise....
...Venus is the distributor as the ascendant is traveling through
a Venus Bound (Dorothean terms) in Leo in the Indian national chart.

Venus Venus and everywhere Venus

The launching chart have Venus conjunct the MC.

Yeah....cool stuff.
