MARS/SATURN SYNOD CHART


Here is that Greenwich/world chart which doesn't look too bad until one notices not only are the Nodes (& fixed star Algol!?) square but Uranus is right on the IC before then moving towards Mars-Saturn with its potential to create its usual disruption. It's important to note that it takes well over a year to finally square the malefics, hence, it took until the advent of 2023 to really show itself which may explain the lack of interest in this important cycle. Wake up, Astrologers! After that Uranus goes direct over Mars/Saturn once again for good measure during April/May 2024 which should resonate strongly with the current crisis in Gaza - one hope it results in some form of peaceful resolution but with the planets involved it doesn't warrant a great deal of hope.

On Oct 7 the day Israel announced a State of War. Uranus was 'exact' square (reaching exaction on Oct 9th).

Also the chart for Uranus station is quite worrying under the circumstances with Pluto exactly on the ASC (Iran?). I will stick to the Mars/Saturn cycle for now taking in other disasters affected in 2023 later.

I like that you incorporate the midpoint in your analysis.

To extend on your post, Uranus currently sits in the midpoint Kronos/Aries Point = major events on Earth and Hades/Aries Point = Catastrophes which translate to major crisis affecting the World.
I have attached an Aries Point chart for October 7th.
Usually, any important event will show up with significant midpoints in the Aries Point (general) and the local MC axis (specific).

Did you know Hades-Kronus is in the 10th house using Sidereal?

Makes sense with Kronus there - incompetent, stubborn Leaders are to blame as usual, leading the people off a cliff.

2023 will go down as the year of Climate change fires and natural disaster as well as potentially being on the brink of WW3. The main factor astrologically IMO is the position of Uranus at 23 tau squaring Mars-Saturn (the malefic synod) at 23 aquarius. This could indicate Saturn- Uranus = sudden collapse of structure and is therefore apt to

When Saturn is retrograde in a chart, there is a sense of repeating unfinished tasks/business from the past. This is certainly the case with the recent resumption of the Arab-Israeli Wars and a case could be made for the other charts as well as mistakes from the past re-emerge to troubling effect for the leaderships of the countries involved. In cases of Hawaii and Libya a failure by the Govt. to prepare for expectable conditions ie. Climate change. and in earthquake resistant habitation in case of Morocco.
