Lord of the hour Jupiter, or the Moon? 1 by Rhys A Christian Astrology study group that I am part of was going over page 241 of CA that discusses arguments for a boy or a girl in the context of a "Will the child be male or female?" question. Lilly lists Jupiter as Lord of the Hour, which of course is masculine. However, when we look at the corresponding chart on page 240, we note that the Lord of the Hour is the Moon... In looking at the chart on page 240, we note that Jupiter is culminating. We were wondering, if a planet is culminating, does that somehow make it an honorary hour ruler? If not, why does Lilly say the hour ruler is Jupiter on page 241 when the chart on page 240 says it is the Moon? Any thoughts on this? Kind regards - Rhys Quote Mon Oct 23, 2023 12:41 pm
Re: Lord of the hour Jupiter, or the Moon? 2 by Deb This does seem strange, but I can only assume that this is an error because he has marked the hour ruler as the Moon (which it is) in the chart and there is no reason why that would be replaced by Jupiter just because Jupiter is angular. I sometimes dread to think what errors I would leave behind if I weren't able to correct myself after posting Quote Sat Nov 04, 2023 12:31 am
