‘Friends’ star Matthew Perry dead at age 54 of apparent drowning: report
The beloved “Friends” star was reportedly found dead in the jacuzzi of his home in the ritzy Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles just after 4 p.m. on Saturday. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that first responders rushed to the address after a call reporting a cardiac arrest. It’s currently unclear who phoned 911.

The sorrowful event took place on the day of a lunar eclipse at 5 degrees Taurus. Pluto was on the ascendant of the eclipse chart cast for Los Angeles, where Perry was found.
This transit Pluto was exactly square his natal Midheaven , the eclipse axis itself was conjunct his natal Moon-Saturn opposition and the transit Mars-Mercury conjunction opposite Jupiter (lord of his natal H8) was square his natal Ascendant.

It's so interesting how people are grieving this loss - someone they never knew who was like a friend for many years .

I found it interesting to note that Mars formed a partile opposition to the lord of his 8th, Jupiter, who was also L8 and conjunct the Midheaven in his Solar Return chart. The repeating Asc/Desc angles show it was going to be a big year, but these eclipses proved to have turned the lights out. Pluto was also on the cusp of his SR 6th house, & Saturn hovering around the 8th cusp is rough terrain, and speaks to the incident occurring in a hot tub. Thanks for posting the charts.

That's true, but nevertheless, the lunar Eclipse activated his natal Moon-Saturn opposition, where Moon, lord of the H12 of self undoing, is in Scorpio, a water sign, in H4 of endings.

Interestingly, Matthew Perry's last Instagram post had a picture of him sitting in his large Jacuzzi at night, with the Moon shining above him.
