Kite December 22, 2023 1 by Ouranos Jupiter_Apollon_22 Dec 2023.png Viewed 2386 times 119.11 KiB There is a Kite formation coming up activated by the Moon and Mars on December 22th. Involving... Jupiter/Apollon = Cupido Fortune, success, honors. The amount of money in circulation. Successful growth or expansion in science, trades and businesses. Luck or happiness for many. Art with success and happy marriage. -------------------- On her website Faith McInerney says Of Jupiter/Apollon https://midpointobservatory.blogspot.co ... ollon.html 'My findings: most common manifestation: banks and other financial institutions.' with other manifestations specific to this Kite configuration. 'MA=JU/AP - Joined the army due to debt Steve Jobs had natal MA=JU/AP. He filed a multi billion dollar lawsuit when the Solar Arc came to the Aries Point. CU=JU/AP Got a job writing jingles for a bank.' --------------- Of Jupiter/Cupido 'Family member getting a good job, an addition to the family, major family celebration. Many artists have natal JU/CU from Mozart to Picasso to James Dean. From Prince Harry to Prince Albert to Anna Nicole Smith. Mother Teresa founded a successful missionary group in India when JU = CU in her Solar Return. Mark Zuckerberg acquired WhatsApp when Solar Arc JU = CU'. And many more examples. ---------------- In the past month, the Dow Jones gained about 2,000 points and is being doped by good news over good news... for the companies. According to the 2023 release, 1.1 billion out of 6.1 billion people (just over 18%) live in acute multidimensional poverty across 110 countries. Sub-Saharan Africa (534 million) and South Asia (389 million) are home to approximately five out of every six poor people. They say that half of the world's net wealth belongs to the top 1%, top 10% of adults hold 85%, while the bottom 90% hold the remaining 15% of the world's total wealth, top 30% of adults hold 97% of the total wealth. Re: Kite December 22, 2023 2 by james_m ouranos i take it you are being sarcastic at the end... interesting stats and i have read similar overviews like this before... regarding the use of the term 'kite'.. i first learned this perhaps out of that book by michael meyers -"handbook for a humanistic astrologer"... he defined it as a grand trine, with an opposition to one of the planets in the grand trine... it is interesting how the term is being used here.... are there any predictions going with this for the stock market/dow jones? like ' up is followed by down' or anything like that? lol.. Re: Kite December 22, 2023 3 by Ouranos All Kites have one thing in common. There is only one opposition in the configuration. And there is a 4th planet in the midpoint of the isosceles triangle. The 4th planet can be - harmonious (linked by 2 sextiles in a Grand Trine) Number 3 - octolinear (linked by 2 semi-squares and 2 sesqui-quadrates) Number 8. The example here is what we can call a 'minor octolinear' configuration as it is within the formation. Anything around 20 Mutable can trigger the Kite. - pentalinear (linked by 2 quintiles and 2 bi-quintiles) Number 5. - hexalinear (linked by 2 semi-sextiles and 2 quincunxes). Number 6. Also called Yod. - asymetric (another other angular distance with a planet in between). The 4th planet becomes a focus point, a trigger to the triangular formation. As the station of Jupiter moves away from the T-Square in February, things will get more stable. Correction: The more I looked into it, this Yod is asymetric. It just happens to be activated by Mars at the midpoint (8th Harmonic) of Jupiter and Apollon. The Rulebook says of this midpoint 'Interest payments. Caution if you buy something with your Credit Card. Mars will slap you back... in your best interest! Blessings! Quote Mon Dec 18, 2023 6:03 pm

The NYSE chart on Astrodienst has a DD rating (conflicting times) but might be worth a look. It features a Jupiter-Saturn opposition that's set off by the transit of Mars you point out on 12/22, Ouranos. Have you looked at any of the midpoints or trans-neps from that NYSE chart? thoughts are just thoughts Quote Mon Dec 18, 2023 10:15 pm
Re: Kite December 22, 2023 5 by Ouranos Thank you Jason for reminding me to look at the General (NYSE) in question. My post was more to show a merry-go-round in the financial world right now and involving some TNs. Some astrologers, better qualified, like Ray Merriman have tables and indicators to navigate in this world. But it can also indicate some trends for the common people. What I noticed in the NYSE chart is MA in the 2nd House and the Jupiter/Apollon opposition in the 4th/10th House axis. Natal Mars is being squared by transiting Mars. Overall, 5-6 Fixed and 20-21 Mutable are being highlighted. Jupiter is many, Apollon is multiple, repetition. If you sit at a black jack table and you don't know if you should double your bet, go ahead, Lady Luck is on your side. It shows the amount of money in circulation. Apollon was a god of archery, music and dance, truth and prophecy. I notice in the community, a feast on what 2024 holds for us... with free gifts if you attend the seminars. Generosity is on the agenda! Have a nice day, Ouranos Blessings! Quote Tue Dec 19, 2023 12:00 pm

Hi Ouranos...help, I am really confused here. Like James, the basic definition of a "kite" formation (as far as I know) is similar to the one given by Bil Tierney in his "Dynamics of Aspect Analysis" This seldom discussed configuration is actually a modified Grand Trine. Here, a planet is found at a fourth point in opposition to one of the planets in the Grand Trine. At the same time, it sextiles the remaining two planets. In addition to the dynamics of the Grand Trine itself, the Kite also receives the added stimulus of the sextile and the opposition aspect. It thus is a composite of three trines, two sextiles, and one opposition. I interpret it as a more dynamic indicator of success in life." (p78-9) From what I can see, the formation you've highlighted has an opposition (TA to SC), one trine (TA to CP) and two semi-sextiles (SC to SAG, and SAG to CP). Is there another formation between the midpoints of these elements that I'm not seeing? Ouranos wrote: Correction: The more I looked into it, this Yod is asymetric. I also can't see a Yod formation which Tierney describes as a "not-too-common configuration [that] occurs when at least two planets sextile one another while both quincunx a third planet, creating a large "Y" formation across the chart." (p145). Again, is there some such formation between mid-points?? Apologies, I never use mid-points and don't know whether or not aspect patterns are applied to them. ---------------------------- "I can calculate the motions of celestial bodies, but not the madness of people.” —- Sir Isaac Newton https://archive.org/details/@janegca Quote Tue Dec 19, 2023 5:20 pm
Re: Kite December 22, 2023 7 by Ouranos Hi Jane, Hi Ouranos...help, I am really confused here. Like James, the basic definition of a "kite" formation (as far as I know) is similar to the one given by Bil Tierney in his "Dynamics of Aspect Analysis" The definition of Tierney is exact in what is known as a 'Kite' (3 trines, 2 sextiles and 1 opposition). "'When one point of a grand trine is involved in an opposition, the opposition's other end almost inevitably falls at the midpoint of one of the trines, forming sextiles to the other two planets in the trine: a 'kite formation." (Rudhyar/Rael 'Astrological Aspects' p. 184) But Rudhyar/Rael have also developed an extension to the Kite formation with other types of aspects than the 'soft ones'. A figure is found on p. 186) Alexander Ruperti/Marief Cavaignac in 'La Géométrie du Ciel: I.Les configurations planétaires' have also developed on the writings of Rudhyar. On page 169, Rudhyar says 'Once the linking of aspects is recognized as significant, the possibility of giving specific meanings to combinations of them (my words here: other than the squares or trines as he explains) according to the particular aspects involved should become evident.' If it looks like a Kite, it behaves like a Kite. Now, when you look at a Grand Trine, you see a Trine. What do you see when you look at a T-Square? A trine or a square? In the latter case, we as astrologers have developed an habit of extending the figure of a T-Square to see a square that is not in front of our eyes. The angle is a square but the figure is a trine. My focus when I look at aspects (any angular distance between 2 points, known or unknown) is to look at the midpoints and find a relationship with the chart. In this regard, an unaspected planet does not exist in a chart for it will fall at the midpoint of other planets. I also can't see a Yod formation which Tierney describes as a "not-too-common configuration [that] occurs when at least two planets sextile one another while both quincunx a third planet, creating a large "Y" formation across the chart." (p145). Again, is there some such formation between mid-points?? Sorry, I should have called it an 'asymetric formation' for it is not a Yod as per the definition. Always a pleasure to exchange with you Jane, By the way, I have been following and recording the start time of the NHL hockey games since the start of the season and so far my record is 11 wins 4 losses on the ones I have worked randomly. I am not sure if I will include the TNs yet but Jupiter being involved in tight aspects with Apollon and Cupido should provide an answer to that in the next couple of days. Have also narrowed down the orbs and working with the Angles only. Best to you, Ouranos Blessings! Quote Tue Dec 19, 2023 6:34 pm
Re: Kite December 22, 2023 8 by james_m ouranos thanks for going into greater detail on your use of the term 'kite' here... like i said earlier - the use of the term does have a precedent in earlier astro lit from the 70's and 80s... i see how you are getting it and calling it that.. it looks like a kite the way you have drawn it up too! the book jane refers to - bil tierneys aspect analysis book is really quite good.. it came out in 1983, about 9 years after the book i referred to earlier - handbook to a humanistic astrologer... of course they are all various different patterns and the names are arbitrary, and yet based on some of the literature, people get used to the terms and think of them a certain way... you grabbed my curiousity with this statement of yours... in so far as all midpoints are formed by 3 ( or more ) points, you could call it a trine, but again - the term is typically used by astrologers to define 2 points approx 120 degrees away from one another... maybe i need to be more playful and imaginative with the language here..
