I am putting this chart as a part of my learning exercise.
So very similar to me, many people at my workplace are in a terrible frame of mind. They don't know what to do with the constant fear of losing their job. Several rounds of layoff have happened over the last 12 months, and there is an underlying fear of being let go and who is next. Also not that the market outside is perfect to get a good position. Some don't want to find jobs as they don't want to leave out on the severance package they will get on being fired, and some because of their comfort zone.
Having said this, my dear friend J has decided to go for a job search. She has not been in the current company for a long time to worry about severance and is looking outside to find a stable and reliable place to work. She asked if she would find a 'new and better paying' job in the next 12 months.
She asked the question, she is the significator-Sun. I see her in the 6th house of Aquarius, debilitated, which shows what she is going through. Weak spot, terrible condition, however her moon is in the 11th house, just entering Cancer, to a comfortable position,
The 11th house ruler (new Job) is Mercury. Moon will oppose mercury (in 10 units), so there could be opportunities but they may not materialize
Another interesting part of the chart is Saturn in the 7th house, which can overall mean that the chart is unfit for judgment for now.
Thoughts Please?

AS Leo - SU ruling the querent
MC Tau - VE and the MO (Almuten of the 10th)

The 10th House is the primary house to look at for a job change.

Querent:
SUL1 Out of Sect, in Detriment and Cadent shows he has nowhere to go or powerless in the situation.

MC

The 10th House ruled by VE at 29 deg Sag, peregrine (he is at the end of his rope and about to face a change) and Oriental to the SU (fresh and lacking in experience in the company). Squaring NE in the 8th, the severance package would be deceiving.
The MO in the 11th (early degree) is the money that he earns which is good (sextile JU).
The problem is with the money that he can save (MercuryL2 conjunct MA) is slipping in his hands. The MO also ruling the 12th of dissatisfaction.

And Uranus in the 10th...

Alphee Lavoie says that when we make a change with UR is in the 10th House, it is never permanent because it's like jumping from the frying pan into the fire. He also adds "I could write an encyclopedia about clients who made changes under Uranus which turrned their lives upside down with absolutely no way of getting back what they had."

MC= SA/NN - To get notice of dismissal

And the MO will next trine SA in Pis in the 7th (He is setting or going elsewhere) sextile JU (opportunities will show up).
And the last aspect the MO makes will be a trine to FOR. Like a cat he will get back on his feet.

Thank you so much again. J is also moving to a relatively new team, however she is very dissatisfied with the way things have been. Moving to a new manager, doesn't remove the fear of being laid off, given that it is an organization's new way of funtioning. Constantly having to worry if you will lose your job next day and will have your livelihood intact or not is not the best scenario. I completely understand where she is coming from.
But it is interesting that you mention Uranus in 10th about the change, would you have the link to this book or article, I would love to read more about it.
Also can you help explain this:

I am trying to integrate midpoints into Horary astrology.
Right now, I am just taking note of what midpoints are doing for the AS or MC or any midpoint related to the question itself (here MC - a question about job)
The quote comes from 'Rules for planetary pictures'.
Will see if a pattern comes up on the longer term and what it means

Just to add some understanding on how I look at a 'job change'.

Between ruler of Querent and 10th House
- No aspect = No change
- Soft aspect = Stay in your current position
- Hard aspect = Go for a change.

As for the midpoints on the MC, I am unsure right now if it describes the question itself or if signifies something in the result of the question.
