I was scheduled for cosmetic surgery on Monday but now have Covid. My question is will this surgery take place before Friday? The Moon does square Uranus so is not Void. But it isn't aspecting H7 Lord or H10 treatment lord. The co signif of Venus/me is sextiling Saturn which is both ruler of the 7th (surgeon) and in the 10th (treatment) but I am unsure if this is a good enough "yes" or if the chart is saying that even if I'm well by then, I should not do this.
It is the Moon that concerns me. I would welcome any input thank you.

I see in your chart 'Will I have surgery by Feb 4th? - which is a Sunday.

I meant by end of day Friday Feb 2nd (the surgeons/clinic dont work on weekends). I was just looking at the calendar for end of the week. So i mean, by the end of the week that ends Feb 3rd.

Surgery is a combination of MA/UR at 17 Vir 45 = VE in 6th Cosmetic surgery.
Adding the ASC in the bound of VE.
The MO applies to it in 3 units
MO your ruler peregrine, slow, in detriment of SA L7 and L8 in 10.
MO in 3rd will also square UR R, so I would call it a 'last minute change of schedule'.

Moon is void of course (I take it as inappropriate to consider Uranus in horaries); Saturn in the house of medical intervention: Not much is going to happen.

Georgius, thank you. This is what I wondered about, if we count Uranus or no. If we go by this, no surgery this week at all.

Hi Ouranos, Your interpretation intrigues me as I did not think to use midpoints at all. By "in the bounds of" Venus I guess you mean Asc is in the (egyptian) term of Venus? Am unsure is this a good sign or not?
Also: with Moon peregrine and slow and in *detriment*, is that 1) a testament to me being sick now, just reflecting my status OR 2) an implication that the surgery is a bad idea? To hear my significator is "in detriment" paints a pretty grim picture.
I chose the original date (29th) because Moon would not be in the body part affected (Cancer) and nobody (planet-wise) was retrograde. Venus looked good. But maybe I did it wrong. And in any case, the very Uranian Covid reared its ugly head. I have been so careful too, for the weeks going up to this date, i wasn't even going outside until I had to go do all the bloodwork prior to the surgery date (prerequisites for surgery).

Yes. And VE=MA/UR of surgery tied to your ASC by being in the bound of VE. Relationship between the two.

The Moon is not in 'detriment' but being in Leo it is in the detriment of Saturn ruling the 8th (of surgery). And Saturn means delays.

Moon in the 3rd (of appointment) squaring Uranus seems like a change ahead (applying aspect), not related to your Covid (past) but in the future.

Ok thank you for clarifying, sounds like rescheduling to me. I will find out tomorrow if they reschedule to later this week, or postpone this for several weeks (or months). I am glad if this isn't suggesting harm to me and was just underscoring the clear delays.
The surgeon is very experienced and I researched him.

They are offering Friday and state that a negative Covid test with zero symptoms will allow a reschedule. However Friday is a Scorpio Moon. Although Scorpio doesn't rule the eyes or face (it rules reproductive organs / prostate), I was told surgery under Scorpio moons is a bad idea (although I have not found the reasoning as to why). Something about Mars having too much power I guess? If anyone knows, please feel free to share)

The other option is Thursday night but then we have Libra Moon and I was told no facial surgery when Moon is in aries (ruling head/eyes) or Libra (ruling skin).
I ran a chart for the supposed timing if we go Friday. It is below. 0 degrees Asc (!) but I believe for my adjusted time zone the Asc should be at 2 degrees. The other planets are correct. Sun in 8th in term of Jupiter, Moon at 8 Scorpio so well out of Libra, and moon sextiles Venus but Moon is not applying to anybody or anything else...
Likewise Saturn is only sextiling Jupiter... I take it the surgeon is focused only on the surgery (which, that's good...?) but not me per se. Maybe Sun in term of Jupiter in the 8th is like me "accepting" surgery?

Not that I want to discourage you from looking at your Horary chart but have you considered looking at your birth chart and diurnal?
Which might be more suited for the purpose of looking at how the surgery will go instead of a question on timing.

When you look at old aphorisms about the Moon by sign, you may end up not having a surgery at all because everything seems never good enough.
Modern surgery has evolved since Antiquity and today they do not practice bloodletting anymore.
For a surgery to the eyes, look at your Sun
The Sun is organic, the Moon is functional and the ASC is physical.
And do meditate when in the surgery room to calm down anxiety and stress.

Hmm no i had not looked at my natal, and am not sure what to look for. Do I look for transits on a certain date? What would indicate that surgery occurs? And what is diurnal? From what I read it just means if Sun is above or below horizon, mine is above, and so a Day chart....
