With the second stroke of an eclipse cross through the US looming, I thought it might be worth revisiting some comments made by Jason Burns about the last eclipse, where he noted problems concerning grain supplies and agriculture (there is a low-res image of some of the comments below). Here's a couple of headlines I've noted recently that show the consequences noted by Jason playing out:

"We've lost probably tens of thousands of head of livestock, cattle mainly," he said.

Thanks for the shout-out, Deb. I'm honored; got me flushed red, blushing over here. I remember writing that piece for the newsletter. It came together rather quickly. My monthly contribution to the newsletter had already been submitted, and the copy approved, when you came back asking if I'd be game to put something together on October's eclipse to include (we were about to be on newsletter "break" for a month, I'd only written a forecast for September, and you (rightly) thought it would be good to include at least a little something about the astrological goings-on of October). You also wrote up and included a segment on the upcoming April eclipse, which made mention of how it hits Trump's chart and highlights a 'very dramatic' legal situation for him. With the Supreme Court now involved and scheduled to take up his immunity case in April, I'd say you were 'on the money' with your comments, too!

I guess we really could chalk this one up to the eclipse being in Libra and the sign's association with "weights & measures" as the scales. With debilitated Venus ruling the eclipse from the sign of its "fall": the scales tip: a plummet.
