Do you track the moon’s transit through the houses of your chart? Do you find this helpful? What tools do you use for doing it?

I had observed this for a while and had not gained any profound insights.

Traditionally seen transits generally were not considered as important as modern astrology attach importance to them. If a direction or profection and/or a solar return enhances the same theme a transit can trigger the matter. Without it a transit is quite meaningless I think.

I don't do any daily tracking of anything, but do check current transits occasionally, usually when something notable happens, and I have seen themes pertaining to the houses the Moon is transiting and aspects to planets in my chart that it is making "come alive".

I do think lunations are very potent and use them in both natal and mundane prognostications.

If you're asking because you'd like some advice on where to start, I'd say pay particular attention to new and full moons and how they set off things in your chart. Combined with other considerations (major transits, activated timelords, etc) the lunations certainly "speak", in my opinion.

Trying to track every little thing on a daily basis might be a little scattering. But if you like that sort of thing, you could, as the saying goes, shoot for the moon ;)

I was startled this morning by a sudden, unexpected occurrence and just so happened to look at the time immediately after. Thought I'd share here as it fits the thread:

I was taking a break at work; sitting on a cinderblock on the ground while soaking up some sun and talking on the phone with a friend. My friend was explaining something to me at length, in detail, so I'd been silent for a few minutes just listening and staring straight ahead. Suddenly, about ten feet in front of me, a fox popped its head around the corner of a wall that was directly ahead! Since I was so low to the ground we were perfectly level with one another and for a fraction of a second stared directly into each other's eyes. Then the fox slipped silently back behind the wall; as quickly as it had appeared. I got up, walked over slowly, and looked around the corner - it was gone.

The chart for the moment of the event is interesting:
It features the Asc ruled by a Sun in Gemini in the 11th; I was on the phone talking to a friend. The Sun is also the exalted ruler of the 10th; I was at work.

Mars is conjunct the MC in Aries; something suddenly happened at work.

Mars disposits the Moon and the Moon is applying just minutes from an exact opposition to Mercury; Foxes, according to Lilly, are ruled by Mercury.
Also, note the Moon and Mercury's nearly precise contacts with the cusps of the 6th and 12th houses (small animals; unforeseen things)

Sharing this event and its chart doesn't explain the point of me posting here in a thread about the Moon's transit through our own chart's houses, though. Don't fret, I'll cover that, too:

The transiting Moon is currently in my 6th house (small animals), while transiting Mercury is moving through my 12th (hidden and unforseen things).

As for aspects the transiting Moon was making to planets in my chart at the time; it was separating from a trine to Venus - the ruler of my ASC and natal 6 (myself, small animals) while applying a sextile to Saturn - the ruler of my 10th (work).

Maybe a stupid little thing to share, but it fits the original post so I figure someone might get a kick out of it like I did.

At 19:55 degrees Aries (here MC), Uranus was at the founding of parliamentary Germany in May 1848, at Hitler's rise to power in 1933 and at the opening of the borders to refugees by Mrs. Merkel in 2015.

Interesting talent, Jakob. So do you associate the moment these degrees reach the angles everyday some sort of reflection?

Today we had a full moon with Venus and Jupiter in it. How do you interpret that? Who had the constellation closed to an axis?
