Hi.
Many years ago while in the army in Cyprus I read an article
It mentioned a fragment of a chart written in Sanskrit By a man called Parasar circa 3000BC
The article went on to say that no English translation existed.
Has anyone out there heard of this work, and can anyone point to an English source please.
Many thanks

I think this may be what you're referring to? It refers to two English translations.

Hello Dave,
Are you looking for the Parashara Hora Shastra (Parashara's Science of the Time/Stars)? You could go to the following site and download it for free
http://www.astrocamp.com/vedicastrology ... nload.html
Actually you could download 5 books for free from the above site. I suggest you download all (first 3 books in the list given by the site are the 3 major classics in Vedic Astrology).
Then, you could go to
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/lalkitab/
to get more free downloads in their Files section on texts and softwares of lalkitab, the vedic astrology remedial book...
You might not be very interested in some of the books but you could just download them in case you need them in the future (while they are still free on the net!).
