Hardy wrote about her distrust of most astrologers and of "predictive astrology" explaining:
...I believe this human science is restricted to offering information to one of the many factors that conditions our lives - the one connected with the rhythms of our solar system. It simply allows us to get our bearings and identify as best we can the various phases of our development, which are dependent on many more factors than just planetary cycles and configurations and does not necessarily translate into terms of particular events and outcomes.

I am pretty sure that Hardy would have held a completely different belief about "predictive astrology" had the tools of Microastrology been available to her in her astrologically active days.

Addendum:

When we examine the Natal Chart of Françoise Hardy, we find that the SUN is connected to the halfsum NEPTUNE/PLUTO. This can be found in Harmonic 16, in Harmonic 32 and also in Harmonic 64.
It may be reasonable to assume that the connection between die SUN and the halfsum NEPTUNE/PLUTO in a Natal Chart is a possible predisposition to develop a cancer-disease at some point in later life. The emphasis is on "possible" because the halfsum NEPTUNE/PLUTO, as we all know, can also have completely different meanings.

But it is reasonable to assume that beside the NEPTUNE/PLUTO = SUN-connection there are also other connections in the Natal Chart that could serve as a "marker" for a possible outbreak of a cancer disease at some point in later life, like:
NEPTUNE/PLUTO = MARS/SATURN or
SUN/NEPTUNE = PLUTO = MARS/SATURN or
SUN/PLUTO = NEPTUNE = MARS/SATURN and other combinations that we still don't know yet. But there is now sufficient evidence available to assume that NEPTUNE and PLUTO have always to be included in the planetary picture in some way.

Of course this issue needs further empirical astrological examination and clarification.
