A march on Washington, organized by the Poor People's Campaign is scheduled for 10 AM, Saturday, June 29. It's full name is The Mass Poor People's Low-Wage & Worker's Assembly Moral March on Washington. I don't have much practice in Mundane but I wanted to take a look at the event chart: Here's my take on it:

Uranus on the MC points to the event as a "radical" action and Uranus, as the co-ruler of the 6th indicates, the action it is taken by workers. A close sextile to Mercury points to the people wanting to "talk" peacefully (Venus). The 10th is the 5th from the 6th so the action may well have been spurred by the upcoming election; this is also indicated by Capricorn intercepted in the 5th with Saturn in the 7th of conflict and by Jupiter (L5) in the 10th.

The Sun (L1) is in the 11th with Venus (L10, L3) and Mercury (L11, L2) all disposited by the Moon (general significator of the people) in the 8th. So, the people are feeling their power (Sun) and marching as lions into the den of government (Venus as ruler of 10th of authorities, the 11th being the administration, Moon being in the 10th from Cancer).

The 6th/12th axis is critical at 0 Leo/ 0 Aquarius. Leo covers the 1st and 12th, emphasizing the people's (1st) suffering (12th) and their desire to overcome it and Aquarius covers the 6th and 7th, possibly indicating their willingness to work (6th) battle (7th) in order to do so although the 6th also rules the police and Saturn is sextile Mars in the 9th of the law who is sextile the 11th house planets so there could be delayed police/judicial action in response (Venus L10 separating Mars, applying to trine Saturn. Pluto in the 6th points to an acute division into two factions, possibly between working people and civil service (police)?.

The Moon's placement speaks to the fact that one of the motivations behind the march is the number of poor people dying daily in the US; one report puts it at approximately 500 per day in 2019 and that is supposedly an understatement. Many of these deaths are due to lack of decent health care for those with incomes below the median wages. The campaign puts the number dying at 800 per day in 2024.

Given all but one planet is above the horizon and only one of those cadent this looks to be a large and very public march.

Found a few strong connections to the US Chart (I use Zain's, not Sibley's) There are a few interesting connections:

• The event Mercury at 24 Cancer is conjunct radix Mercury (ruler of the radix Asc) in the radix 3rd highlighting the people are on the move and want to talk
• The event Jupiter in the 10th at 7 Gemini is conjunct the radix Asc; Jupiter rules the radix 7th (conflict) and 11th (administration, people's ambitions)
• Radix Uranus is in the 1st; in the event chart it is on the MC; people (1st) seeking authority (10th)
• The event Neptune is stationary and critical at 29 Pisces transiting the radix 11th (administration, people's ambitions) with radix Neptune in the 5th of elections
• The event Saturn is stationary and also transiting the radix 11th while closely semi-sextile the radix Moon in the radix 10th. Saturn rules the radix 10th and is posited in the radix 5th (elections).

Also, looking at the Aries Ingress chart for 2024;

• Uranus in the Ingress 7th (conflict) at 20 Taurus is partile sextile Mars in the 1st of the radix with Ingress Mars on the IC and ruling the Ingress Asc: people (1st) fighting for their homes/country (4th); however, as the 4th is also the opposition party, it could be the people taking the fight to Trump
• Ingress Sun in the 5th (elections) ruling the Ingress 10th - seems to emphasize that those in authority are more concerned with the election than with the people as is the administration as Mercury (L11) is also in the 5th conjunct the North Node. Given Mercury rules the radix Asc could be indicating the people are taking a growing interest in what is happening as the election looms closer.
• The event chart Venus is at the bendings of the Ingress nodal axis so this march could well prove critical to Biden (Venus rules event 10th) especially if takes judicial action against the marchers

Don't know how many 'mundane astrology' rules I've broken here but it will be interesting to see how the march plays out and how the public in general, Trump, and Biden react to it. There are 135 million poor in the US, many of whom have never voted; if even a fraction turn out to vote on November 5th there is little doubt they could turn the election; which way though is anyone's guess at the moment.

Housing issues seem to be related to the Nodal axis
Previous cycles have shown that "Most real estate price tops have occurred with the North Node in Taurus and/or moving into late Aries."

3. The collapse of the US stock market
4. A repeat of the Capitol attack event of January 2021
5. The collapse of the US national debt
6. States near the Mexico–United States border, such as California and Texas, clashing with the federal government
7. Assassination of political figures
8. Large-scale attacks on US overseas bases, such as in Syria or Iraq.
9. I can't believe I didn't mention China, Taiwan, or North Korea.

By the way, we also have the Paris Olympics in July.

It shows well the low peak in Aquarius for the stock market and Housing lows are happening shortly after in Capricorn or should I say in the axis Capricorn/Cancer.

but regardless of how one labels events, or scheduled marches on washington, i believe you are getting at something of a bigger picture here, while some are only focused on the housing problem as the core problem... for me this is not about 'just housing' or where the nodal axis is astrologically! it is about a bigger cycle that has come, or is coming to completion - i have used the 250 year pluto cycle before in reference to the usa.... you shared a video in the philosophy section that i think is quite good and captures my own thinking of what is happening in the usa and more generally explaining world geo political dynamics... others might want to watch it too... it's titled 'the changing world order'...

Hi James, Wei, Ouranos ... thanks for the info on the Nodal Cycle, I have not run across it before. Agree with James re: the housing problem, in the sense that it is a symptom of much larger social problems. In an historical sense, I'm reminded of the ancient cities that were abandoned largely because their populations outgrew or destroyed their immediate resources and so had to seek out new areas to live. We are basically in the same boat, except there are no "new" areas to move to. The earth's resources are not endless and we have/are pushing them to the edge. I hope we, humanity, get a handle on this sooner rather than later and there do appear to be some grass root movements to that end but we've made huge mistakes in the last 150-200 years which I doubt can be turned around in in less time than that.
