Based on my analysis, I hereby predict that the Dutch national soccer team will defeat the Austrian national soccer team.
As an Austrian endowed with local patriotism, this idea pains me, even if it is only a soccer match. But we'll see if my sports prediction comes true.

Unfortunately, I was wrong with my prediction. The Austrian national soccer team has won 3:2 over the Dutch team.

Obviously, it is not the best idea to base such predictions on the birth-chart of sports coaches.

Zachariel,
Glad to see you test sports game here.

Have you tried using transits instead of Secondary Progressions?
Looking at a coach is not a bad idea by itself or some key players like a goalie.
Another angle is to check which planets are in hard aspects and focus on whatever the aspect says.
We cannot ignore Saturn stationary right now and the role referees can have on the result of the game.

Keep up posting. Interesting!

Hi Ouranos,
I really don't want you to feel offended but in Uranian Astrology and it's advancement, Microastrology, there are no such things like "hard aspects" because the focus is set on the question what particular planets/TNPs are gathering in symmetry. And when there are actually "hard aspects" then symmetry is guaranteed.

Yes, I have tried transits and I will show it here for you (and then also secundary progressions). The search axis in each case is set on JU/KR (outer circle). You can figure out yourself according to the planetary pictures that show up, how this is to be interpreted. No easy task.

We have to take into account that 3 - 2 is a pretty close result, but of course at the end of the day the winner will be very happy.

Thank you for your comment!

Have you tried looking at AR+JU-SU 'To be rewarded for accomplishment in sports'

-------------
Not exactly Zachariel.
Symmetry is guaranteed when you find a planet or Angle in the midpoint of 2 other planets or Angles, hard aspects or not.
Harmonics are relationship between a whole cycle or repeating process and some part of it.
Looking at a wave or arclengths between points, we have to consider 3 characteristics

1) The amplitude of the wave
If you look at a semi-square, the amplitude will be flat. If you introduce an octile in between (22.5), the amplitude is doubled. And it changes as you keep dividing.

2) The frequency or periods
Let's say we give a value of 1 minute to a semi-square. If we introduce the octile, the frequency will be every 30 seconds. The more divisions you introduce, the more frequencies you come up with which is when you increase the division by 2 like 4,8,16,32 and so on. And you have to decrease the orb accordingly.

3) The phase angle
Keeping in mind that we work with a circle of 360 degrees, the phase angle will be moved every time you divide by 2. Your initial semi-square at 45 degrees will then move to 22.5, 11.25 and so on.

This you already know, it is not rocket science.

In 'Astrologers Guide to the Harmonics', James S. & Ruth E. Williamsen are recording 22 different Harmonics crossing at 45 degree exactly. If we introduce an orb of 1 degree, we find 33 additional Harmonics crossing between 44 and 46 degrees.

But what is happening if you divide by 2, 2 planets separated by 96 degrees. (4/15 of the circle)

In their book 'Working with Astrology', (p.432) Michael Harding and Charles Harvey give the example of Swami Muktananda where you find the midpoint SU=SA/NE. He is the founder of Siddha Yoga and a disciple of Bhagavan. His Sun is 48 degrees from each side of Saturn and Neptune.
Giving what we know of SU=SA/NE
Ebertin says 'Lack of vitality, a propensity to illness, disease'
Rulebook 'The man who feels sick and weak. Long illness of the body'.

The phase angle of 96 degrees is a 15th Harmonic resonance (3X5). John Addey says that 'through his highly conscious (5) and deeply motivated (3) denial of the outer world (Saturn), he was able to become a focus (Sun) for vision (Neptune) and wisdom (Saturn).
A very different interpretation with number 5.
In the 5th Harmonic, the Sun, Saturn and Neptune are forming a very tight Grand Trine!
In its simplest denomination of the circle, the quintile can be reduced to 2 degrees 1/2 and 180/2.5 = 72 degrees. (Quintile)
Dividing a sign by 2 degrees 1/2 segments is what the Greeks called 'Dodekatemoria' and it has the underlying meaning of the number 5 or the quintile quality as we see with the example of Swami Muktananda.
So when you start dividing a pair of planets by 2,4,8 and so on you need to keep in mind the original distance between the pair of planets which will have different meanings.
A lot of what we are looking at is in the eye of the beholder.

Best to you,
Ouranos

Ouranos postet:

Yes.
Below you can see the results for Rangnick and for Koeman (Transits, Harmonic 16):

These results suggest that the formula AR+JU-SU indeed matters in such cases.

Thank you for the free lecture on symmetry and harmonics. 😉
