Who Wants to Perform a Herculean Task for Free?

1
We all know that there are two versions of Christian Astrology; the first published in 1647 is the one that is retyped and accessible to all of us. There is another edition that was published in 1659 and Lilly or the publisher added the words "ammended and corrected" or "corrected and ammended;" I've forgotten the order. But, to my knowledge no one has compared the two. My understanding is that the pagination is identical and for that reason changes are probably minimal, and perhaps confined to typos. But who can be sure?

The task would involve mind numbing repition and a strong possbility of missing something that may or may not be important. But there is hope for those of us who do not possess a super stong Virgo nature. There are two computer programs available for FREE that will do a side by side comparison page by page, and highlight the differences. They are at:

and

One need only load the two files (they are both available: I have them) and check out the differences page by page. Of course CA is over 800 pages so it is still a difficult task, but think of all the appreciation you'll receive. I've never used either program and I'm depending on the marketing blurbs for appropriateness to this task. And, no, I am not even going to pretend to have the kind of time this would require, but who knows, someone might, and if there are significant differences, there may even be a scholarly type book in it that will spread the author's fame far and wide among the astrological community.

Anyone? Anyone? You busy Kim?
