Hermann Lefeldt, was a secundary school teacher and a professional astrologer, author of astrological books, a student of Alfred Witte and collaborator of the publisher Ludwig Rudolph. He was a prominent advocate of Uranian Astrology, the Hamburg School. He was the co-author of Witte's "Rules for Planetary Pictures" and editor of an index for this book. Together with Ilse Schnitzler (co-author) he published the "Lexikon für Planetenbilder" (engl.: "Lexicon for Planetary Pictures") in 1957. Lefeldt is also author of the book "Methodik der Astrologischen Häuser und Planetenbilder - Band 1: Die Häuser" (engl.: "Methodology of Astrological Houses and Planetary Pictures. Volume 1: The Houses"), published in 1962.
