i do believe this country is going to be in the news in the next 6 months for a number of reasons - perhaps the october 20th election vote is one of the many reasons.. below is the natal chart taken from nic campions book of world horoscopes 3rd edition to 2004... in it he explains the complicated history of this country.. perhaps wikipedia does a similar service - i am not sure... the chart is in sidereal zodiac..



the ascendant ruler venus is retrograde and conjunct the 12th house ruler mercury and jupiter, the 6th and 3rd house ruler.. in itself, venus is high up in the 11th house which in itself would be seen as favourable... friends in high places, lol.. the most obvious midpoint is the sun-saturn = pluto which probably reflects it's historical basis of hardship coming out of various wars and conflicts.. it might also describe how it appears to be being used as a type of political football among all else that is going on in the geographical vicinity.. the close mars-moon opposition in the 12/6 house axis is also very interesting here..

this upcoming year beginning late aug 2024 is a cancer profection year- 10th house by my read of whole houses.. the lord of the 10th is found exalted in taurus in the first house of the 2024 solar return which in itself is construed as favourable.. this is according to the books i have read on taking the profection lord and assessing it according to where it is found in the solar return for the year in question.

below is a chart for the solar return in sidereal.. as one can note the presence of the 2 outer planets pluto and uranus on the angles suggest a significant year for moldova.. sr saturn is also high up in the wh 10th house squaring onto the rising jupiter... in this chart the ascendant ruler venus is in detriment and caught up in a t square with neptune and mars - mars at the top of a t square essentially which is usually conflict prone.. it might be softened by the venus-neptune opposition on the bottom... there is probably a lot more to this chart i am missing, but that is a start...



when you do a biwheel with the natal on the inside and the solar return for 2024 on the outside - it looks like what is shown below..



perhaps the most outstanding feature of this chart is how teh 2024 solar return midheaven/pluto conjunction lands on the natal saturn position in the moldova 1991 chart.. other details include sr 24 venus - ruler of both the 2024 sr and natal chart lands on the 12th house mars of the natal chart.. this suggests a few things to me, and generally it isn't positive... having the 2 planets most associated with war and hardship - saturn-pluto come together in the biwheel here also looks challenging..

generally this small country doesn't get a lot of media coverage.. i read an article on it this morning which gives a particular angle on what is happening from the russian point of view which some here will find interesting, if they are open to this... it comes with a beautiful picture of a monastery in moldova..
