Reception

1
I recently watched an AFC football game btwn the Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49'rs. It clarified my understanding of "Reception".

The Sun was beseiged, he found able-handed mercury - Mercury took a bouncy control of the Sun's ball, even though, he too, was besieged, saw the sun and passed it back to the Sun and the Sun Scored.

If Mercury and Sun are in reception, things will work out as querant hopes or plans.

Next to reception would be 'interception'.
From A to B instead of A to A.
Any clue?

I'm guessing as a novice. If interception were to happen with sun and mercury in MR - sun and merc might have been weakened by besieging planets surrounding them - as if those planets were strengthened against sun and mercury in MR, rather than weakened by their own bad aspects?

In sports, a pass happens with an intention to land in a specific place.
Besieged is an interesting angle.
I am thinking of the Moon in between 2 planets of the same Sect changing the course of action or a Mutable/Cadent quality where the ball is not landing where it is suppose to.
But this is an hypothesis at this point and a better approach would be to record the time when this is happening and study the chart.
Blessings!
