I’m currently working in the field of Information Security.
I’m extremely satisfied with my workplace—the hours are super comfortable and flexible.
The managers and colleagues are so positive, empathetic, and kind.
It’s hard to point out even one toxic coworker.
I’ve never once felt any sense of burnout.
The problem is that there are two main drawbacks:

A lack of challenges. Over time, I’ve basically mastered all of my responsibilities, and right now I’m performing all my tasks like a magician.
I’ve hit my salary’s glass ceiling and have to settle for what I earn.


So.....
should I leave for other companies that pay more and give up all this comfort?
In those places, the challenges would be ten times greater, and it would also require working late-night hours, all for a higher paycheck.
It’s important to note that the position I’m in now isn’t something you come across every day.
On the other hand, because of rising taxes and the increasing cost of living, my salary is suddenly not enough for a household.
Or should I try something out of the box—think of a creative business that integrates AI, some type of service, something that could serve as extra income?
