this is just a quick overview of some of the astrology at work.. it has been my main contention that mars-pluto can be associated with violence... the birth data for shamsud din jabbar is given as oct 26, 1982, somewhere in texas... apparently beaumont texas is the birth location and 12 noon in the absence of a birth time... the tropical chart is shown below... it is on the very east side of texas right next to the state of louisiana and about 265 miles by car..
what is interesting is the close venus sun conjunction in early scorpio - sun at 3 and venus at 1 degree approx... this is very close to the mars-pluto opposition in the transit chart which is shown below.. also the mars-neptune conjunction in his chart is being squared by the long transit of neptune in late pisces as well.. he supposedly converted to islam in the past year and apparently he was in the armed forces and served in afganistan, went thru 2 divorces and didn't seem in good shape psychologically speaking.. maybe an accurate birth time will become available in the future..
maybe some other observations can be made here, but this is a simple breakdown for now.. horrible event.. i am very sorry for anyone who was directly affected by this..

new orleans has a chart for it's incorporation feb 17th, 1805... i don't know what the time of incorporation is, but there is a close opposition between mars at 3 leo to venus/mercury conjunction at 2/3 aquarius... thus the transiting mars in leo has been making a mars return to this natal position and of course transit pluto is making the long transit over the mercury/venus conjunction... i have made the chart below for new orleans for noon, in the absence of a specific time...
