Re: Morinus on Mac?

Hi there - according to the website https://sites.google.com/site/pymorinus/ Morinus should run natively on Mac OS as long as the programming language Python is installed:
It runs on every Operating System where Python and wxPython are available(Linux, Unix, Windows, MacOS).
Have you checked that this software is available on your machine?

There seems to be a number of variations of this program. I'm not sure which one you are interested in.

Thank you for replying!

I tried to install Python, that worked but then came the next thing: Some Python extension is missing. This I could not install for whatever cause. All the hints at the internet did not work or I didn’t not even understand them. (I get so tired of all this Unix staff. I’m used to software working without all the troubles.)

Hi Georgius - you might need to try something like Crossover or an equivalent. This is a piece of software that translates Windows code into something that a Mac can work with. There are various free and paid for options I think but I'm only really familiar with the Linux equivalents.

Good luck. Ed
